alright man I have a feeling that this live action is going to be good
it seems plan out to me, or when I read it it seems plan out
2 movies, each movie is 3 volume, and there are 6 volume total
I mean, that sounds great
you see dragon ball live action movie....well, it starts off at Z I think and I don't think thats planned out like they skipped the first part the begining and stuff but it could be great.
and someone posted up astro boy adaption but I don't care about astro boy
so what you think about akira the new akira adaption?
I think it something to look up to

I like the idea of having all six books made into films would be an amazing idea but to do it as a Live action would be an absolute travesty!
You can't have one of the touchstones of Anime converted into live action, it just wouldn't work! To prove my point try watching Fist of The Northstar animated followed by Fist of the North star live action.
fist animated = Amazing, Work of genious etc etc
fist live action = s**t, very s**t, incredibly s**t etc etc.
Anime should stay as anime and thats that!

I seen the FoTNS anime (I got pwned buying the bootleg)
I seen part of the live action on sci fi when i was young but didn't get to finish it since i had to do something on that day.
why wasn't the live action good?

Akira is rumored to be produced (and acted) by Leonardo Di Crapp-o (or DiCapprio for the fangulls.)
I dunno, I just don't see that loser playing Tetsuo. Or Akira. Or Kaneda.
Or, heck, even some innocent bystander that gets blasted to little bits by one of the many explosions the original had.
If Speed Racer sucked (it did, even compared to how sucky the original is for today's standards,) then this one? It's a potential black hole. Run away from Hollywood, and fast, before it's released.
And I've got to agree, that live action versions of anime shows/manga tend to suck major Dragon Balls. Just look at the recent Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon series. It starts off almost good, but by episode five or so it's become something that looks like a bad fanfic done by a group of retarded fangirls high on hormones and low on plot and dialogue skills. Only good point about that thing was that Beryl was hot. And the only half-good actress in the whole thing, too.
That's what happens when you give fangulls enough money to make a movie, I guess (see, not only Hollywood can suck when it comes to that. Dunno if that's good or bad, though.)

... Hollywood, or whoever is doing that, is doing it wrong.

yeah and I'm still not sure what it suppose to be
if its suppose to be Dragon ball goku is suppose to be a kid and if its dragon ball z then who is gohan?
well the only thing we can do is wait and see
