Hello. I am Link_of_Chaos0911. I am the Vice Captain here at Not To Us: A Christian Guild of Faith and Belief. I would like to share with you a new revolution that needs to take place on Gaia Online. It starts with Hope, and in a new revealing conference/campaign; clans of battle, guilds, and Gaia will to come together for an awesome few weeks of praise as well as sharing the Hope Jesus has given to us. Back in 2006, we launched a campaign called "Grow Gaia 4 Christ." Back then, it was hard to get gold... and from the efforts of several people we got a donation of 30,000 gold to make a guild called Grow Gaia 4 Christ... and we also held a conference in the subforum now named "Dead End!" xD.
This year in 2008... we at Not To Us are starting a new revolution called Risen. We already have a guild that will be named Risen- A Guild to Unite. Our goal, is to simply share the hope that Jesus Christ has placed in our lives. We primarily don't want to evangelize, but instead share hope of a future to the many who need it. We want to help those who cut, are thinking of suicide, or are deeply hurt. We also want to help those who just don't know what to make of the world... our goal is to pour into the hearts and souls of our peers and awaken a generation for the glory of God. We are ready, and the question is, if you Gaians are as well. Over the next few months we will be campaigning with clans, guilds, organizations, forums, and moderators to help promote this awesome new campaign... we want to bring up the major issues facing teens, and bring a foundation for why christians are the people we chose to help sponsor this new campaign.
However, Risen isn't about 2 weeks... we want to start Risen sometime this April and expand into the Fall of '08... covering the beginnings of the new Gaia Online Battle System, as well as allying many people as friends, under the hope and knowledge. Hopefully this also makes our guild, greater to the extent of friends with all the major clans, guilds, and organizations. Not To Us is all about God, and so is Risen. Risen is about Jesus being Risen up... but also the Rise of this generation, to overcome... and to live for a purpose, whether for God of not.
Like usual, we will provide awesome things. Including Youtube videos of Link's face (oooh, aaaahhh) and awesome banners. We will provide a place for Risen, and the guild will be all about helping people. Hopefully, we can expand on this core idea and touch the hearts of a few online.
I ask that if you wish to volunteer you post here in the topic, so we can add you and get support. If you have questions, go ahead and let them loose here... and we ask politely that people who want to critisise the idea PM either flyingemu27 or me about it.
