Little Treasures PreAcademy Note: Before Lex Shows Up

Dear Sabrina:

I am so happy you have chosen Little Treasures Preacademy! I know you have many concerns, but rest assured, we are very excited to have Lex join us. Thank you for your very thorough letter detailing your list of special concerns for Lex. I promise that he is in good hands here at Little Treasures.

Little Treasures PreAcademy Note: Day One

Dear Sabrina:

Thank you again for voicing your concerns. Please do not over-worry yourself. It is normal for a child to have anxiety in a new environment. It would seem, from your own words, that Lex has experienced a lot of stressful changes lately. I'm sure it will not be long before he's a happy member of our preacademy!

Today, Lex was very shy about becoming involved, but that is natural. I will keep you updated on how he is doing.

Little Treasures PreAcademy Note: Day Three

Dear Sabrina:

Next week is our Valentine's Day special party! Please be sure to buy Valentine's cards for all the children. We have a list of names enclosed. Our preacademy is beginning to look very festive. Lex is watching these changes with keen interest, I think he will like Valentine's Day!

As we have discussed in person, Lex's eating habits are very concerning to us. He will only have our Popsicles and refuses anything that you pack or that we offer him. Do you have any suggestions?

Lex continues to be disengaged with the other children, though he does watch everything keenly. I believe he will enjoy his time here once he becomes thoroughly acquainted and comfortable.
