Primarily because I know that while I'm shortening my showers and trying to restrict my consumption of water as much as I can, there's someone out there who doesn't even try. It's a shame, because I think I'm one of about ten North Carolinians who cares about the long-term outcome of it.
Gah D; what are we at now? A 2 foot deficit? Nonetheless, have any of you gone through economical depressions such as this?

i n e e d
England had a pretty bad drought a little while ago. We were on a hosepipe ban for about a year, and I know for a fact that my classmates all took baths filled to the brim.
And everyone down my street took out their sprinklers for, like, the WHOLE afternoon.
I don't think I've ever seen anything -that- bad though, Iie D: s l e e p

We sometimes get droughts during the summer.
once in my town, there was such a bad drought, that noone could use ANY water unless it was for drinking if nessisary.
Also, one of my friend's mom made this thing before the drought that caught rain water, and so she could water her flowers and stuff... ;D

That sucks. D;
But, out of the other ten people who care about the drout, you're the type of people they're thankful for. :3

Hmm... It just rained today. It was quite refreshing really.
We don't really have droughts like that... we have times when the water pressure is low for no reason.
._. It's odd, really. We're surrounded by water and they cut our water off during the summer...
Hope something happens soon. Something where no one's hurt or killed. Just a nice, long rain.
