I've been playing for about a year and I am only good at speed picking solos, and even then I just mess around, I really only know pentatonic scales, but I want to know some licks that are relativley easy but sound awesome, if you could tab them out on here or have tab links that would be cool, thanks!

Well, really you can never call any guitar solo easy. They all have some complexity to them. But some are more simple to play than others. It all depends on the style you are trying to play though. What I suggest is trying to make your own style. Or what is more complex, but will benefit you the most, is starting to learn music theory. Scales is the foundation to all solos. Once you get those down, you can play anything (almost). Start with the major and minor scales, then progress with what ever scales you feel like learning. They are all based on those.

Listen to solos from other bands and learn how to play them. Then mess around by mixing up different notes around those solos and you will learn how to make your own solos using scales you don't even know. Thats how I learned.

this isnt going to work. youve got to find songs that YOU like and look up the tabs. its really easy to look up the tabs, try ultimate guitar theyve got a good tab archive. asking other people for stuff just doesnt make sense unless youve never heard another guitarist in your life and didnt have access to the internet. i dont know any scales at all. i learned solely from jamming and looking up riffs from other songs i thought sounded cool. i know a few chords because they were in songs, but i couldnt tell you what they were. my friends try to show me stuff and go "then an A" and i go "gimme a number" because aside from what letter to tune each string to, i dont know any of that stuff yet im still one of the best players i know by far and im not saying that because i think im all that, im saying it because thats what people tell me. my guitar playing doesnt come from letters and copying other people, it comes from my fingers and they learned by the ear. i play a bunch of fast crap on the high notes sometimes. no idea what it is. and people go "woah how are you staying in key!?" and i go "wtf is key, these are frets"

Try learning more scales, and modes, and then try mixing them around a bit, it helps alot with soloing.

that would be the Phrygian Dominant scale, play around with that thing biggrin

YOu're asking a lot for someone to tab out a solo for you. It's already a pain in the figuring one out for yourself, but to write it down? I know where you're coming from, but dang. Just look at tab on tab sites. And learn more scales. The blues scale is a good one, you cant really go awrong with that, one shape is
1 4 1 4 134 13 123 14
as allways you can move it around.
