God I love this movie. At first when I read the review I thought, "Oh my God I'm gonna hate this movie!" But still I sat down to watch it, to find out what it's like as I always try to do, AND LOVED IT!!! Great story line, even though it was set in the jury room! Who else is with me?
Also I love Forrest Gump. I'll post that In all my topics from now on... stare

I haven't replied to this before now because I was not sure which version of "12 Angry Men" you are talking about. If it's the remake that was done for TV in the late 90's, then I haven't seen it.
On the other hand, if it is the original 1957 black and white movie with Henry Fonda as the juror who tries to change people's minds, then yes, it is one of the best movies of all time!! I have this on DVD.
The great thing is, too, that except for about one minute at the beginning and another minute at the end, it all takes place inside one room. It shows that you don't have to have a lot of crazy scenes and special effects to have a great story. In fact, many times these things just get in the way of a great story.

~Agreed! Most important plot points in movies are lost to action scenes and special effects. But don't get me wrong I love action and SciFi and fantasy and all that, but every now and then I love a good talking movie... Another of my favourites is A Few Good Men. Has the black and white one been made into colour because if it has been that's what I saw. The one I watched was long, but not so long as to make a T.V show out of.

What was great about the movie having very little scenes and litle action game you time to actally think about the problem in a calm but tense enviroment. It's logic is what I believe makes it a great movie! ^^

Just some great acting, simple but interesting story line. One of my top ten movies easy! They just can't write like that anymore IMHO, or don't want to gamble on the movies revenue. Now we are just stuck with a bunch of CGI s**t, and remakes of old films. Hollywood has reached an all time low, save a few movies.
