Here you will find general synopsies of the RR parts. Each section holds a short synopsis included with an ending, and a link to the RP itself.

Release and Revolution 1: City of the Dead

Synopsis: The government's cure for cancer was disastrous, resulting in their creating a vaccine to counter the negative effects of the "cure." This led to the death and revival of bodies, called zombies. The virus, called the Compound-Virus or CV, turned most of the population into living dead or killed them. The heros fight the undead, using the creatures' weakness of UV radiation, and try to find a way out of the infected zone. Altered CV, and Super-Virus types arise for the government's new diabolical plan of developing biological weapons, and the humans must defend themselves, or submit.
The government, realizing the hopelessness of reclaiming the city, destroys it with a powerful laser satellitte from space, eradicating all virus and living creatures within.

Release and Revolution 2: Uncovering the Enigma

Synopsis: A year after the destruction of Ground Zero, cities Manhattan and Brooklyn, the government has tried to find the escaped survivors who have gone their seperate ways. It is 2013, and the government has taken many of the survivors into custody and, having set up a new base for testing their virus types, send the captured via cruiser to the base on a mysterious island uncharted on maps. The island holds a think-tank school originally used for the virus developers as young scientists, and a military base that holds labs for the viruses. The survivors and others must find a way to escape the secluded nightmare, and must face horrors that expose the evil taking place behind the political friendliness of the US government.

Alright, why doesn't everyone give a small paragraph on which they liked better (as far as RR 2 has progressed)? This is a kind of feedback, but is more entertaining than anything. What about the first one, for example, was fun?

I like RR 2 better. Although the story has been progressing steadily and slowly as of late, characters are more developed, and I can feel safe in using my RPCs. I'm not fleshing out their personalities anymore, and I can concentrate on the story and how it affects characters. RR 1 was more of an experiment at first, and the 20 people that joined caught me off guard in a major way. Now, we have a guild, and can control flow and such, and not have spammers or anything, or idiots telling us what they put in the poll. stare

I personally believe I enjoy RR2 better because it's in a more controlled environment. In COTD people were always coming and going, asking where everyone was, and it was just SO BIG! Here it's a much smaller environment making it easier for people to meet up and interact for the first time. It also allows a safer environment because if you must go you can leave your character open to others, thus keeping the rp going. That was an issue in COTD where there were like 3 people and one was always gone. RR2 is also better because we are improving on the stuff that was bad in COTD, so it's a lot more fun.

That reminds me...I'm putting up a new rule. I don't think you guys would have a problem, but it applies to everyone; be sure to check it out.
