I'm 14 chapters in, and they have yet to do or talk about, or even think about *anything* that doesn't have to do with sex. It kind of cracks me up how she gets all indignant that everybody is all but calling her a whore and nobody respects her as a Big Bad Vampire Hunter/Zombie Raiser, when it's been at least two or three books since she's done either. All she's done is boink anything with fangs and/or fur that comes within glomping distance. Meh.

Does she even work at Animators, Inc. anymore?! She decideds to skip town for a week or so, so she calls her boyfriend(s), but not her job? I would love to do that sometime, just to see what would happen.

OK, mini-rant over now.


Lol so right. Not that I don't love Anita but sometimes...I wonder about her actions. I wonder why doesn't she get her tudes tie if she doesn't want kids. Then she (and all the other guys) wouldn't freak out about a broken condom or missing a pill.


That's just what I was thinking yesterday. She keeps saying that the whole white picket fence life isn't right for her and that she knows a baby is not the right thing for her, so why doesn't she just have it done already? Micah did it... well the male version anyways. Everybody would just be that much better off.

With Anita's luck the damage would heal itself and she'd end up preggers anyway.

Hmmm maybe. But it's not like it's just a snip and everything's left hanging. They stitch it all up too. And well, Micah's a lycanthrope and with the number of times he's shifted since he had it done, it didn't heal. But then, yeah, Anita's pretty much the exception to all the rules. xd

A vasectomy/tubal ligation would work on lycanthropes because they cauterize the cut. Though knowing Anita she'd still heal it somehow.
