 ♥ |Rules: Basics| The basics of Heart, Stars, and Smiles are like the basics of all Literate role play guilds. Literacy will be explained more thoroughly in the next post though. People in Hearts, Starts, and Smiles should never auto hit if violence is evolved in a role play. Nor should members take control of another’s character. Taking control of a character is the equivalent of taking ones identity. If you didn’t submit a profile or character request for a specific character you don’t have the right to play it. Kapeesh?
Violence should be kept at a normal level. Don’t go into super gory details, please spare our eyes. Don’t decapitate people, or cut off limbs. (This is all basic knowledge) We aren’t cannibals, or savages. Also don’t kill without my permission or the gaian’s permission. No pulling a gun out of the sky and school violence isn’t ever accepted. Violence should remain at a PG-13 level, but nothing out of a horror movie.
This leads us to romance. No freaking cybering, no reference to cybering, no sex period! God we really don’t want to read about that stuff, we’re not perverts. Please keep romance simple and clean. Yes a kiss is fine, a playful touch, even a make-out scene is okay every once and awhile. Romance isn’t limited to gender. Every sexuality is accepted, because love is love basic knowledge. It shouldn’t be limited by someone’s gender. Just be careful about detail once again on this matter. No matter how amazing yaoi is, don’t go into heavy details.
No individual role play has the right to not allow homo or bisexuals. We are all the same, no matter what gender we love.
Follow the gaian terms of service, don’t get out of line and everything will go well. Please keep reading though, as we have some rules regarding threads in the last post.

♥ |Rules: Literacy|
Literacy is golden. Silence isn’t. Literacy is like our oxygen in this guild, without it we would dwindle away into nothing. Literacy is like a muffin as well. Sure it seems boring to type out five or six paragraphs, as boring as a muffin is plain, but the result (or taste) is wonderful. Sheer perfection in an imperfect object.
Literacy means the following. Good to perfect grammar and spell checked spelling. Pretty basic stuff, but here we’re taking Literacy to a new level. This means well written sentences that are intriguing to read. We want metaphors, similes, illusion and other things that your English teachers love. Don’t make everything flowery though, some level of seriousness needs to remain. Sentences need a subject and an action. Although “Jill ran” isn’t a very good sentence, nor is “The Sheep mooed then jumped over a piece of cheese while holding a fork in its mouth while playing on the computer eating muffins with the gapacala”. Run-ons and short sentences are hated as are one-paragraph posts.
Posting requirements are as follows. Three paragraphs with a minimum of three sentences, at the least. There is no maximum posting amount, but remember quality over quantity. We’d rather have a post of four well-written paragraphs then twelve horrible paragraphs. Pretty basic stuff, right?

 |R.3.S.P.E.C.T| Respect. R-E-S-P-E-C-T, find out what it means to me. Pretty simple, like the song.
Everyone deserves respect in this guild. Everyone has the right to their own beliefs, sexuality, and race. These shouldn’t be critiqued, even though everyone is entitled to their own opinion. This is basic knowledge.
If you insult someone because of their beliefs you will be removed from the guild! No questions asked.
