how do you not get any STD herpes or any other diseases is it just to have protection? How can i protect myself if i have sex with the same gender?

To decrease your chances of getting STDs, use protection and get tested.
If you and your partner both test negative for STDs, then your probably don't have much to worry about. You can get tested a second time a few weeks or month after the first testing just to make sure though.
You can use dental dams (you can use a flavored condom cut along one side to make a sheet of latex) during oral sex. You can also play it safe by not sharing toys unless you put a fresh condom over the toy first.

thats right if you and you partner dont have any you cant get it from them unless they sleep with some one els
