Wow, if even us tech savvies don't buy any, what kind of market demand is there for Blu-Ray movies?

The biggest market for HDTVs, of course. Rich old guys buying s**t to impress the neighbors.

This is why over a third of HDTV owners don't even know they're not watching HD content.

I don't see why I should pay an extra £10-15 on top of £14.99 to see sweat a little bit clearer.

Also.. I think it's mainly because of the PS3. Since that runs on Blu-Ray, there'll always be demand for it.
PS3 owners have a Blu-Ray player, whereas with the 360 HD-DVD wasn't required.

Regular tv works, but if you watch something in HD afterwards, and then switch back to a non-HD channel, regular TV just.. sucks.
It's boring, the colours are dull, it's fuzzy and not crisp..

HD is really nice and noticable, but if you don't have it you're not really missing out. It's not really the crispness that's the big difference between the two, it's the colour. The colour is amazing on HD.
Colours aren't that beautiful and saturated irl xD

Our HD box was also over $300, on sale though. >.<
