We're playing in the Dublin St. Patricks Day Parade, and doing several other performances at various castles and towns (:
This trips been in the process for two years, and its almost here!
We've been having umpteen practices. 3 2adays last week. My directors bascially squeezing in as many as he can before we leave (: Including several evening practices on weekends. And, in the pouring rain, cold but worth it.
I'm way excited, we've won first place 2/3 times going, and hoping to take first again!
Only, no Victoria trip this year. We normally do the Victoria parade & northwest band competition. (Won that one 9 years in a row ;D) But no biggie, Ireland!
Any of you guys taking/taken big marching trips?
(we're travelling from Seattle, so its quite a way!)
