Guitar Hero: Aerosmith on Wikipedia
Okay so I'm a huge Aerosmith fan, have been for years. I squealed with delight when I first heard about the Aerosmith songs being released in GH. Now today I hear about this new GH game that is based on their career. It's not the first time they've starred in a video game. I still have my copy of Revolution X somewhere.
I'm honestly now sure how I feel about this. Of course I'll buy the game and I'll play it like the hardcore fan that I am but I'm feeling kinda uneasy about a GH game focusing on just one band. Honestly, does activision think that this game will sell the millions on millions of copies like GH3? It'll mostly be the pride and joy of us Aerosmith fans and be picked up by the true GH players but not to a mainstream of video gamers.
What do the rest of you think? Who knows, maybe it'll be a great addition to the GH kingdom and maybe we'll see more games starring other bands, GH: Metallica maybe or how about Guitar Hero: Guns N Roses?
