I have a male therapist i work with, he is a gay therapist and a lot of times issues of sex and suxuality come up for me its just something i struggle with its not like i like him or anything but just my general issues mostly, but is it okay for me as a female to open up to him about sex and stuff even with my general issues, i mean i trust him and everything, but i just dont want to embarrass him by saying period or anything to make him uncomfortable so i really kinda not know what to do

Of course it's ok to open up to him, he's a professional! Periods are perfectly normal bodily functions. You don't have to feel embarrassed about having one. 3nodding
It's ok to talk about your period with men. It's not like they don't know we have periods. xp After all, there are many male doctors, even male ob-gyns, men who have lots of sisters, men with open girlfriends, etc. Many couples are even sexually active when the woman has her period. Just because he does not have a period or a female partner doesn't mean he's clueless about them or can't talk about it.
