Blade lifted her head up when she heard footsteps coming through the brush. When Doina came through she blinked but grinned, the grin growing wider when she heard what the elf had to say next. "Ooh, is this so? Well, come on now princess, show it to me!" Blade pushed herself up from the ground, walking over to stand next to Doina. "Mm, you've been reading the book then? Got more muscle strength, then?" Blade lifted an arm up and flexed it, winking at her and chuckling. "Of course, you look good thin too... whoops, getting a bit off track. So then, what type of spell are we talking about? Healing? Offensive? Whoop-your-a** type?" She set her arm on Doina's shoulders, humming for a moment. "I bet that Laquemil will be proud of you, too. He seems like the kind of person who would be, huh?"

Doina laughed, and blushed slightly. She knew that Blade was only joking with the flirtatious comments she had. She began to push her sleeves up as she went over in her mind how the spell went.

“Yes, by the time I’m finished with that book I should have rippling muscles. Lugging that heavy thing around.” she joked.

She looked over at the hand that was on her shoulder. Laquemil would be proud? She doubted that. She hardly knew anything about the White Mage and the same was for him with her. He had given her the book, which she was surprised at, but it was probably because he saw how poor her healing abilities were.

But she nodded at Blades words before concentrating on the spell. It was probably more of a defensive spell than offensive spell. The book had said that the effects created an illusion. The book had suggested that for the illusion to be effected, the castor should use it with an element that they were familiar with. So if a person was familiar with water and water spells they would combine the incantation with one of those spells to produce the illusion. And what Doina was familiar with, other than healing was music and sound. It probably would work better with her flute but she hadn’t gotten a chance to sing and she missed doing so very much.

So she sang the incantation and in her mind she thought of what she wanted the illusion to look like. She settled for making a copy of herself. So as she song it she closed her eyes and really thought about the image of herself. What she saw was a weird but pleasant experience. It was like the magic that flowed through her combined with the sound of her voice and made the sound….visible. She could actually see sound.

A few feet away from them the illusion of the second down appeared. She was pretty much mimicking what the real Doina was doing. She looked over at her doppelganger and smiled.

“It’s an illusion spell. I have the ability to change the illusion but I think I need more practice. It’s actually hard keeping this one up without singing the incantation.”

"That's a girl! Maybe you and I should have a brawl sometime. See who the strongest lady is! Guys always like to watch girls fight. Especially pretty ones." Blade laughed and released Doina, giving her a hearty pat on the back. She stepped away to let the mage concentrate, leaning on a hip while a smile tugged on the edges of her crimson lips.

Blade lifted up an eyebrow and took a few steps forward to inspect the illusion. She walked around it, tilting her head as it became more and more solid. Then Doina stopped singing and the copy of her seemed to copy what Doina was doing. Blade stopped and looked at the copy, slowly nodding her head before looking back over at the real thing. Blade chuckled and folded her arms underneath her breasts. "You did pretty well, princess! It still needs some work but you're definitely on the right track to make yourself a sexy twin." It did need some work, as Blade herself could tell that the image wasn't real. Of course, if it was just going to be some sort of a cheap illusion for a moment's distraction, it was just perfect. '' "Nicely done, princess. Just a little polish here and there and you'll be all set." There would be various things that Doina would have to realize when making illusions, but hopefully the girl would be able to pull it off by herself.

""

"" Blade blinked and turned around to see the missing white mage standing behind her at the edge of the clearing she'd made. She grinned and laughed, walking over and thumping him on the back. "" Blade pushed him a little too roughly (not intentionally) in Doina's direction, grinning like a charshire cat. ""

((Sorry for the lack of posting, it's been a busy week))

Leon had finally become drunk again and had trailed behind the group. He stumbled into the clearing and fell on his a** when he saw two Doinas. "Holy fruit muffins! I didn't know you had a twin!" he said, slurring his speech. Then he saw the second Doina waver a bit and then he sighed as he sat back up and began to try standing, leaning a great bit on his naginata. "Ah, someone jusht gots her firsht illussssssion, eh? Well, good jyob."

Leon stumbled a bit again as he approached Blade. "Hey there, Ah herd somfin' aboot a drinkin' contesht?" he said as he took a few of the bottles out of the bag. He was exaggerating hit drunken state, obviously, but he was having fun. "[Hope you don't mind I speak in ibixian. It's more comfortable for me, and you could always learn. First shots, some of the stronger elven wine I got from Silver's village.]" he said as he took out two shot glasses and poured some of the deep red liquid into each.

He then accidentally dropped his naginata and fell to the ground, but he was way more sober than he was acting. Not to say he didn't fall and not that it didn't look very messy, but not a single drop of alcohol was spilled from the cups of the bottles in the long decent from the height that they were at in the 6 foot ibixian's grip. "[Well, I guess I should take a seat.]"

Fight Blade, the thought was laughable. She wouldn’t dare to even try and fight Blade, even if it was just the spar. The difference in their power was very great, whether it be in magic or physical combat. At the compliment she beamed. She knew she needed improvement, but Blade had said it was good, so she knew that she was going about it correctly.

She saw the illusion start to flicker and cut off the channel of magic she was supplying. The second Doina disappeared and she sighed. That took a little more magic than she would have liked it to. But it was her first time and she was only practicing. She looked over to where Laquemil suddenly appeared from and flushed slightly.

Had he seen her cast the illusion. He probably thought she did poorly. She pushed her sudden embarrassment aside when Blade pushed Laquemil in her direction. At Blade’s suggestion to Laquemil she blushed and lowered her gaze. She had thought of asking the White Mage for assistance but at the same time she didn’t want it.

“ she admitted, finally looking up at Laquemil.

She had smiled at Leon’s praise for her illusion. Or what she thought was praise. His words were slurred. He had started drinking without Blade already. Then he switched to his native tongue and addressed Blade. It looks like the competition would soon begin. She should probably watch them…monitor them maybe. Seeing him stumble and seeing his weapon fall she looked over at the two of them biting her lip worriedly.

“No remember the warning I gave you two….”

Silver's face was a cold mask, the same it had been for a while now. Despite Seraphis's breakdown in the cave so many days past, he had remained closed off to her. The young half-elf's heart just couldn't take the pain. She had been drifting, not really there with the group and not really anywhere else. It was like she was dead in a sense, seeing as she rarely ate, drank or slept, and never spoke. Even at the antics of the group, she just looked onwards, her ears listening for approaching attackers rather than within the group. She even ignored Seraphis, trying to repair her heart after he damaged it so.

(This... Is so... BAD!!! crying Earthcraft is offically on my crap list...)

{{xD; Oh dear.

Well, it looks as if Craft hasn't logged in for about ten days. So we'll have to see if he's actually crapped out on us or not when he logs back in.}}

Blade chuckled, setting her hands on her hips before turning and watching as Leon stumbled into the camp. Oh, if he was already piss drunk then this contest was going to be a piece of cake. It didn't even seem fair, but he was the one who'd decide to get drunk before they'd started. However, as he came closer she noted that she couldn't actually smell that much alcohol on him. 'Is he pretending?' She lifted up an eyebrow, chuckling and shaking her head when he spoke clear- just a little slurred- Ibixian. So he was just pretending to be that drunk. She wasn't sure why, but hell, it was what he doing, not her. Maybe she thought that it would be more entertaining.

And so she plopped down next to him, humming cheerily as she grabbed a a bottle of wine out of her shadow. "[Do not mind at all. Shots it is!]" Blade declared, grinning while she rubbed her hands. It had been a while since she'd had a drinking contest- well, against someone that she knew would be a challenge. "Oh, don't you worry about a thing, Princess! We'll just fine." Blade gave her a mischevuous wink before her eyes moved over to look at Laquemil. "" Now she turned her body to face Leon, ruffling her hair before crossing her legs and leaning on her knees. "I'm ready, tough guy! Try to go easy on a pretty lady like me, pretty please?" Blade looked at Leon and sarcastically fluttered her eye lashes.

"" Laquemil shook his head, resting his forehead on his hand. He looked over at Doina, chuckling a little before patting her shoulder. "" he looked over at the pair who were about to engage in a drinking contest before making a gesture over to a nearby tree. "" It wasn't exactly his plan to be giving Doina some lessons, but he supposed that it couldn't be helped. As he walked he pulled his hood down, glancing up the darkening sky as he stopped at the destination he'd chosen. Laquemil let out a breath and silver smoke slipped through his lips, sinking to the ground and igniting. The fire set a fallen branch ablaze, giving him the light that he wanted. "" Laquemil licked his dried lips before taking a step back, whispering something underneath his breath. In the same spot that he'd been standing was a clone, which glanced over to look at where Blade was before looking at Doina.

"" He paused for a moment and the two Laquemil's turned to face each other before the one that had been talking suddenly vanished. "" He hoped that he was making sense- it was difficult when he'd never actually taught anyone anything officially. He'd helped, but that was different. "" The white mage pulled out a small red apple and held it out for Doina to take. ""

((It is a pitty, but oh well.))

Leon sat up and rummaged through his bag, producing a third shot glass, pouring the contents of the other two glasses back in the bottle that the liquid came from. His hands were dead steady, even if he seemed not to be. He was buzzed, but not drunk, and for that he was happy. "Welsh, whould da loverly lady Silver HAWK liksh to join usssssss?" he said in slurred human with a wink to Blade. He had mastered the ability to sober himself if he wanted to. Leon then placed the three glasses in a triangle and nodded, a little exageratedly, to Blade to start pouring. "[go ahead and pour yer brew.]"
