Ask Threads became a very popular activity in the Harry Potter forum. Many users found great fun in portraying their favorite characters in the form of light-role playing. Others found great fun is asking questions that they could never hope to have answered!

Since the Mods for the Harry Potter forum within Gaia decided that these threads were best suited in the Barton Town role playing forum, many users became really upset and many threads were abandoned.

So, to give Ask Threads a permanent home, I have opened this forum. The only things to be posted here are Ask threads. As always, the guild rules apply.

This is what we call a non-moderated forum. Since it's only light role playing, and it's done in the form of asking questions to someone portraying a character, the need for moderation should be minimal. I'm not enforcing the rules of role playing in this forum, but all other rules - general and engagement - apply. Please abide by them. Keep in mind, however, that moderators are within their rights to review this forum at times and issue warning/bans as they see fit.

Oh! One more thing -----

Ask Threads are generally associated with canon characters. I'm not making this mandatory, since there are way more people who are interested in having an ask thread than there are canon characters. HOWEVER! Should you choose to make an ask thread for an OC, please review the example thread first.
