And your peer pressure thing might work... but it might not, and you'll wind up removing people that didn't do anything wrong... o.o Of course, if it does work, then it'll be all sorts of useful... but to yourself, you've gotta think "do the ends justify the means"... and I'm not saying this in a "talking-down" tone... I'm just saying that you might wanna think about it... Nothing wrong with it if it does... ^_^

Also, with such a guild, establishing ground rules may very well cause the ruleless allure of the guild to vanish... but it will establish some order...

There is the compromise of only having mod rules... *shrugs* That might work... Iono...

And don't get so worked up over it... trust me, no guild on gaia is worth elevating your blood pressure and getting you in a bad mood... ^-^

But on to more serious matters. You did the right thing imo, because well, like Sibby said you'd already established the rule, and rules are rules, no matter how idiotical. (unless you're at school... ninja )

But yes. You're understandably disappointed, and I wish I had something fascinating and enlightening to tell you, but I've never been in this situation before, having never been crew of anything.

Maybe...elections (however useless being crew is) would've worked better? And I'm speaking from experience on this one :]

New Entry

So a member came to me last night with a PM entitled "You're intelligent."
Body: basically consisted of some lameass excuses for not telling me about what's going on and sums it up with the line "So what's the best way to deal with pain?"

I tell her the things about self harm and how not to do it, but still give some alternatives anyway, and then apologize if I took what she said the wrong way and gave the literal ways to try and avoid physical pain, and told her to IM me if possible.

It turns out she's being molested by her cousin and some neighbors, at least 10 times. They are overpowering her and hit her. She has told her parents, her parents don't believe her. She can't tell a school counselor because she doesn't go to school (chronically ill). She fights back but they overpower her, and she's called a hotline, who told her basically the same stuff that I told her, and that it didn't work.
I told her to ask to go to a gyno and get the gyno to tell her parents about evidence of sexual assault(After telling me she was raped with a stick), and she said
"NO! Not like that. He just rubbed it in and stuff. They're too cowardly to actually do it, I know it."

Then she went into denial. She tried to argue with me that rape is only if the p***s goes in a certain distance.
IT WENT IN. IT DOESN'T MATTER HOW FAR.

It sucked, and after that she wanted ot talk about normal stuff.
I don't know what it is that allow people to confide in me so much. I mean, even in real life, people I hardly know will tell me these types of secrets. I usually seem to avoid these things until I reach some sort of power, such as captainship, and then people PM me all the time.

I made a joke about how I must give an aura of "I will keep your secrets" xP
She said it wasn't that, it was just that I seemed like I had all my s**t together, and knew exactly how to deal with all sorts of stuff.

While it's nice to know that, that still doesn't make it easier to just ignore these things are happening to this person I barely know who is in my guild, and talk like normal people. :/
