..........Each disgusting belch had sent a horrid, gut-wrenching shiver down her spine that made her weak in the knees. The delightful cake, so manically decimated and ravaged by hungry children, was no longer appetizing. "Like, ewww..." Noni whispered, shying away from Sam and Greed. This left only Shawn in the room, who was adorably toddling along behind Greed.

.........."Hey, Shawwwwn!" she called, in the sort of high, soft way that one calls to a young child with no attention span.

Greed giggled, with the toddling of Shawn behind her. She then turned to Noni, a curious face perched upon her lips. Her eyes turned toward the cake once more, and cut another big ole' slice. She scooped up some frosting in the pawn of her hand, and nibbling at it. The frosting clung to the side of her cheeks, making her skin sticky and sweet. She then looked down, frowning displeasedly. "When's Momma gonna get here?" she thought as she prodded at the filling and licked off the strawberry residue that stained her finger. She really wanted to spend her birthday with her Momma, but because she was not here, that dream was slipping away. She also really wanted to perk herself up and stop frowning, but the act of doing so never came.

Greed's eyes grew wide as she just immediately ran up and hugged Sam's Mom. "Thank you oh so very much!" she exclaimed as she took the present. The sadness of her mom not being there disappeared, and she quickly turned happy once again. Carefully pulling the Green ribbon, she then laced her fingers under the brown paper wrapping. She lifted off the top, the paper falling to the know my her legs. Her eyes widened, as she stared at the gift she had gotten. She picked it up, and hugged it immediately. She had received a stuffed bunny, with such big and round ears that it nearly covered its face. "Oh thank you both!" she cried again hugging it.
