Lita and Matt were put together in the WWE to calm down the situation. I think the reason the WWE is having Matt do the angle is to try and make vince out to be a hero for bringing Matt back. So its more the WWE than Matt. Matt stated from the beginning that if he was offered the chance he would go straight back to the WWE no matter what they had. It is after all his dream to be a WWE Superstar. Jeff would go back in a heartbeat and you all know it.

I knew there was a reason I liked you! LOL No one (not even Jeff) would turn down THAT much money

Actually, the WWE offered AJ Styles and Christopher Daniels contracts earlier this year, and they both turned them down...I think they were after Abyss, too, but that didn't work.

AJ Styles jumped right on with WWE, however after the WWE figured bringing AJ Styles into the WWE would defame Hogan or some bullshit like that the dropped him. C.D is the same deal. Last I checked Abyss and WWE are still in Negotiations. Same with Primetime. WWE has also reccently contacted Jeff Hardy. (I think they wana throw him and Matt in together since Edge has Snitsky on his side plus think of the money. Jeff and Matt both return. Jeff to help avenge his brother for the betrayle of a good friend and the third member of Team Xtreme.

Where'd you find that? question

At least Jeff is being honest about the situation. While I don't enjoy the fact he's doing drugs and has missed several shows, he's being more mature about this than his brother. I'm not sure what his problems are, but I think he needs to take some time off to figure out his life and what he wants to do. He has too much talent to let it all go to waste.

I don't care how big a paycheck Matt is getting, if he blames Adam and Amy for the way his life has been going recently, and truly believes it, he needs to cut his tongue out. There is a little thing in this world called discretion, and when you are that big a star he should have known that a big tantrum over the situation is going to draw more attention then anyone would want. He could have talked with both of them before word got out, but he and Adams wife screwed that idea up.

Keep in mind; I am not blaming all of this on Matt. Both Adam and Amy should have known better as well.

I just hope they can live with themselves for allowing this crap to be televised. I'm sorry, but no amount of money would convince me to use such a personal issue as a storyline, and with the same people who are actually involved in it.

I agree. But I think that Paul Heyman and the fans kinda pulled this out of the back rooms (or maybe bedrooms) of the WWE. At ECW he flat out said "you F**ked Matt" and the fans went NUTS. I think that Vince saw that as a great springboard to a great storyline. It's still sad though.

It was indeed a good pop, but I just think the fans are fueling this way too much. I understand we want to know what happened to cause such a split, but this...is pushing it.

In the long run, they better look back on this without regrets. Although I will admit, it seems to have made the matches (not just Hardy or Edge's) more intense.

i read this same story before, but i gotta say, i sorta understand Jeff's response...Matt shouldn't have riled up all the TNA officials if he was gonna go back to WWE, i mean it's just not right...that s**t is wrong (pardon my language), when he came back and attacked Edge for the first time, i was laughing my a** off (once again, pardon my language) because i was just thinking to myself "TNA got screwed again!"

Oh man, did I laugh when I read that. xd

My opinion of Matt has steadily been decreasing over the past few months.

Even though the first time I ever even heard of Matt, was when Jeckal explained to me all this stuff that was going on, I like Matt more then Edge. I admit, I was sort of an Edgehead before all this, but it's my personal belief that what Edge and Amy did was unforgivable. But I also believe that Matt should've sat down with Adam and Amy to discuss all that in a mature way.

But think about it folks, your 6-year girlfriend and soon-t-be wife cheats on you with your best friend. You can't tell me you won't be pretty damn emotional after hearing the news. You also can't tell me you wouldn't want to get your hands on Adam and hurt him, even if just a little bit.

On the contrary to popular belief, I actually believe this is how the storyline was supposed to go. I really don't think that he bladed himself too deep that he couldn't continue. Notice how they followed this up the next night on RAW.

Just curious. Wouldn't you be a "whore" if you made THAT MUCH MONEY? Matt Hardy isn't a whore... he's business savvy. Jeff makes like 45% of what Matt Makes right now and I'm sure that's why he's so bitter. He screwed himself up by not staying sober and not being responsible.

And yet, us true wrestling fans will cheer for Jeff, not Matt- those of us who know the real story. I can forgive drug use, I can forgive drunkeness, but I can never forgive immorality such as Matt Hardy is doing. He's chosen to get paid rather than to stay true to himself, and that's the worst part of all of this. In the end, Jeff Hardy will profit more because he's been honest with himself- even if he didn't know he was being honest with.

True wrestling fan blah. sorry I know how people work. They are in this for the money not the love of the fans. I don't care who it is. They get paid FAR too much to actually care about who does what for them unless they are getting paid. If my knowledge of how people works makes me something other than a "true wrestling fan" then maybe I shouldn't be a mod in this guild because I don't get the true fans. rolleyes

Matt Hardy can whore out if he wants to.. HE still brings in money and I don't think he's losing sleep over the fact that you "a TRUE wrestling fan" boo him.

I can not forgive drug use. Unline a "true wrestling fan" I think that rules are set in the WWE and in any other workplace to keep others safe. Should Jeff have been stoned during a match and something bad had happened..... the "true wrestling fans" wouldn't be crying shame on Matt... they would be blaming Vince for letting people do drugs on his shows.

about the druggs s**t happends good example would be Eddie guerrero he change..Jeff can too besides Matt crys too much about the fact he got dump

They are selling his injury. Notice he lost to Conway?

Also consider this. After you found out you would not be in the right frame of mind either. You wouldn;t be "Oh I have to talk this out" You would be "VENGEANCE b***h!" thus Matts internet post.

I agree with yuou El that people can change, but if you are running a big business like the WWE you've got a lot of people to look out for. It's hard to keep straight who's doing what. I think that Vince is just concerned about letting Jeff come back... and Jeff whines just as much as Matt does LOL
