Only the most beautiful and talented of girls will preform here at Koukon. Private parties are hosted by the girls, but at a heavy fee. Koukon train the girls at the latest age of six. They learn the art of dancing, singing, painting, polite conversation, a musical instrument and of course ceremonies. Most of the villages parades and celebrations are hosted by the girls of Koukon, and many hopeful girls dream of being called a Koukon. But girls are chosen only at certain times of the year, and only certain years. There are Maiko at Koukon, and Maiko are only allowed to preform a ceremony with a Geisha attending. Maiko are especially watched and asked for as they are younger, but wilder.
