Not necessarily, however, you can stream computer games to it without lag.

Only if the games are compatible with the Linux OS you're using.

The games also have to be compatible with the PPC(PowerPC) architecture too...so that narrows it down further.

For YD...that's cool I guess, but I tried it on my PS3 and it doesn't seem very stable. OpenSUSE worked much better on it.
