Hey Fahsky, remember when you ran my Pally through SM Armory about five or six times with no luck in getting the axe but I collected a nice assortment of shoulders?
I levelled a warrior to 40 on my main's server and I asked a friend to run me through several times... This time I amassed a nice collection of helmets.
Only benefit was actually getting the tabard this time through.

Herod is a butt.
Cant get the stupid tabard on my druid, either, the one character I actually want it on.

I tried for the axe many times too for my pally and warr. Didnt get it either...

Last I checked, the tabard also has a chance to drop off the the big mob of weaklings that run into the room after you kill Herod.
The axe dropped for me the very first time I set foot in The Armory on my warrior a long time ago. Got lucky I guess.

There was one day that my guild got bored and a few of us ran Armory...ten times? That axe and helmet dropped every time, and the tabard dropped every other time.
It was kinda fun.
