Daiki rolled his eyes at the overly dramatic dragon. There was evidently something that came with growing old that made you regress quite badly after a while, that affliction had definately hit the dragon quite badly.
Still, it did have to be said that Daichi's hunting was somewhat more successful for feeding two than his own would have been, a warrior he was, the hunter gatherer? No. Not so much. You couldn't automatically be good at everythign, and as far as catching bunnies went, without the trap and bait he'd have been a lost cause, chasing dinner was not on the top of his favourite things to do list.
With a small, obliging smile he curled his arm around the Dragon,
"You need baby sitting do you..?" He asked,
"My wonderfully brave provider.." there was an over use of sincerity in his voice there, he meant it, but he was pretending not to, at least that was what he was going for.
"Such a brave dragon.." he lifted his other hand and danced his fingers over the underside of the Dragons chin.
"Now, your food is warming by the fire still, so you'd better eat it before it either burns up or finds itself in someone elses belly.. and yes, well observed, I am in fact wearing clothes..." he shook his head, bopping the dragon on the nose and aiming to try and steer him towards his food.
"I'll stay with you as long as you sit down and eat like a good boy.." he stated, tilting his head back to look up at Daichi again,
"Not that I'd mind anyway..."

The dragon just continued to feign his ailment, utterly delighted to find that Daiki was humoring him!
"Yes.. Yes I do, my most precious one!" He agreed as Daiki obligingly stroked his chin again, he had to put his 'bad' leg down for a moment as a rubling purr left his throat at the tickling affection being bestowed upon him. He smiled happily, his eyes closing and leaning all the more against the alva, "Mmm.. Yes.. Yes I'm very brave and very well behaved.. You can show your gratitude juuuust like you are now for as long as you want.." He managed between great draconic purrs, a very cheeky glint to his bronze eyes when he cracked one open to give him a matching cheeky grin before he settled himself close to the fire and of course, the source of the food.
He peered up at Daiki with a smile, happily pulling what he assumed was his own plate closer to himself.
"The injured hunter requires legs to snuggle against..?" He may as well try pushing his luck if Daiki was going to be obliging to him anyhow, and who could resist the legs belonging to such a finely crafted elf indeed?

Daiki couldn't help but chuckle quietly at his very dramatic dragon... his dragon..? He smiled slightly at himself for that as well, drifting after the dragon as the larger beast moved over to the fire. He watched him settle before crouching next to him again, lifting his hand to run his fingers gently over the large dragons cheek, a very fond smile on his lips now... how could you not feel fond of such a dear man though..? Daichi was so sweet... so good natured, so nice to be around, yes he was silly sometimes, but the games were fun...
Thoughtlessly he leant up a little and just pressed his lips against Daichi's cheek in a firm, confident kiss. He could definitely get used to things like that without too much bother...
"You require some legs do you my brave one..?" he asked, his voice soft, teasing him, babying him,
"Would these legs do, do you think..? He asked, curling himself to the floor next to the dragon, looking up at him with the same fond, soft smile on his lips, his fingers trailing down on the others strong arms.. Daiki knew he was strong himself.. but that was all from training, effort, trying... this one, this large brute of a dragon he seemed to have managed to lure had never needed anything like that..
"You'd be welcome to these legs if you think they would ease your suffering my hunter..." he smiled a slightly more teasing smile then, games were fun..

Daichi just couldn't stop himself from purring in a very feline like fashion.. Well it was a lot more of a deep rumble that a real cat would have made, but it was a purr none the less.
He tipped his head back with a dopey little smile, his food partially forgotten about now as he fixed quite the adoring little look on the upside-down alva's face. Still propped up on one elbow he shuffled closer and closer until he could then snuggle his head down onto the toned thighs that had been offered to him to rest against. They felt.. Very good it had to be said.
"Mmm.." He purred again, fidgeting around a little and twisting so he was more on his side, his head tipped back to tuck his horns back against his own shoulders. He didn't want to give Daiki an unpleasant jab in the belly or elsewhere after all. "You know.. I do believe that I am starting to feel better already.. What more could a brave dragon want from life..?" He gave Daiki a pleased little smile and a wink, "A warm cave.. Plenty of food and a beautiful companion to dote on me all day and night long.. The only thing missing is my hoard of treasures.." He murred softly up at Daiki, his food really being forgotten about now as the stroking didn't seem to end.
"Such lovely legs at that.."

Daiki smiled slightly at the Dragon settling himself down, lifting his hand slightly to stroke his fingers through the dark brown hair, pulling a slightly strange face at the comment about his legs... his dragon was a strange one, a very very strange one, that was for sure.
"Daichi, you're a strange one.." he murmured quietly, still running his fingers through the soft dark strands, it was nice to have someone to be close to, it really was...
"What else is there you could want, my brave hunter..?" he asked quietly, moving the plate of food closer to himself, picking up a small amount of it, tapping against the other males lips,
"Here, food my dear Dragon.." he said quietly, Daichi was sure to be grumpy and unhappy if he didn't eat, and it wouldn't cost Daiki any to make sure that he did,
"You'll feel much more settled if you eat.." he leant forward and pressed a soft kiss to the others forehead.
"Besides... you wouldn't want my cooking to go to waste would you..?" he chuckled,
"And as for treasure, you have me.. your emerald... unless of course I'm not precious enough for you any more.." he smiled slightly, his clean fingers now taking the place that the others had had in the dragons hair.

"Mmmrrrrrr..." He rumbled happily as he was not only petted and enjoying a most wonderful pillow of a sorts, but he was even being fed, "Strange perhaps, but I think that you much not so secretly like it.. You are pampering your brave hunter something rotten now!" His tail curled and lashed lazily, much like that of a feline, mimicking his lazing and content demeanor for the moment.
He opened his mouth and delicately took the offered pieces of food from his treasures fingertips with surprising delicacy for one with such strength.. And such pronounced canines..
"Mmmrr.. Well.. I was fairly sure that a while ago you said that you were not something to be hoarded! So I thought that you'd be much happier about being a lifelong companion, my emerald.. Of course.. I'd be more than happy to make you my most coveted treasure as well, if that would make you feel so much better..?" He probed ever so slightly, golden eyes softening a little as he peered up at Daiki fondly. No.. He personally would no be adverse to such a thing.. He reached up to gently stroke a clawed thumb over the alva's chin and jaw with a smile.

Daiki chuckled quietly at the dragon and his silly statements, combing his fingers through his hair still and actually enjoying the feeling of the soft strands brushing through his fingers. "I think I could cope with it either way, my brave hunter..." he stated, leaning down to let his lips brush over the Dragon's forehead, before removing his hand to offer another morsel of food to his ever so delicate dragon. "I seem to have changed my standpoint on the hoarding somewhat... if its still agreeable to you of course.." he stated quietly, seemingly rather happy to hand feed his companion for now, letting the large beastie be lazy after his incredible bout of exertion... he couldn't help but smile again at that thought...

"You could cope with it, my precious one..?" Daichi purred up at him, smiling as he nibbled at the offered morsel, kissing delicately at the alvas finger-tips.
"Are you.. Consenting to the change..? Would you welcome such an obnoxious if wonderful hunter and protector..?" He pressed his nose against Daiki's toned, flat stomach and gave it a very firm nuzzle, leaning up a little more as he snuggled up the alva's chest.

Daiki wiggled his fingers gently against the Dragon's lips, once againt smiling at how wonderfully gentle he could be... it was strange that such a large creature was being so very delicate with him... it would have offended him, the cotton wool treatment, had he not known how very strong the dragon really was.
"I don't think I'd have anything at all to complain about if you decided to... stay around.. with me.." he stated, his words rather warmer than they had been for a while, despite the glow of feeling he had now for the large beasty he was feeding at the moment. "The change is welcome..." he stated, once again wiping his fingers clean before brushing them over the soft dark hair. "I think I would actually find myself rather lonesome without you now... as daft as you are..." he chuckled, leaning down to press his lips against the dragons cheek. "You're a dear creature Daichi, no matter how daft you are.." he murmured, letting his fingers move now to stroke the warm cheeks. "I'm fonder of you than I care to admit..."

The dragon purred a little softer, rubbing the bridge of his nose up over Daiki's collar-bone and the side of his neck breathing a very warm breath over the green-decorated dark skin, one hand firmly following the path he had taken before with his nuzzles.
"You would miss me..? Truely..?" He asked, not needing an answer to the question, he knew the answer. Or at least he hoped he knew how the alva would have answered it.
"I'd rather not have to chase you, but I would follow you to the ends of the world if you had to go. I would never be without you, my most precious treasure." He murbled gently, rubbing his nose up Daiki's throat, under his jaw. He pressed gentle kisses there along to the alva's pierced ear and then behind it, daring even to gently scrape his teeth there.

Daiki smiled very fondly at the dragon once again, lifting his arms now to curl them around his neck, chuckling once at the query, and then the very devoted statement that followed it.. "You know my answer..." he stated in a warm tone, "At least I hope you do..." He leant forward, letting his torso rest gently against the Dragon's stronger one, before that would have disquieted him, it really would... but now it was something that sent a little thrill right through him.. he liked having someone so strong being so careful with him.. he liked the sensation of having someone there who could look after him if he let him... he liked the sensation of having someone close to him that... well... that he honestly loved... and love him he did... so very dearly now...
The little attentions to his chest, neck and ear made him smile, and tugged a couple of quiet noises of appreciation from his smiling lips. As the teeth scraped down behind his ear however he chuckled very quietly, and, in the same warm voice as before, "If you get as nibbly as Gunner's mate tells me he was we might have to have words my dearest one..."
