The old griffin sneezed, hand up to his mouth once more as he ruffled up his feathers once more, feeling more than a little chilly standing in the courtyards, waiting around for his wayward son once more. A matter of great importance..? Yeah right.. No doubt it had been quite the trivial affair that he had been asked to help in once more which had just as quickly been forgotten. When he next saw Don, he was going to scalp the bearded little b*****d.. The griffin growled softly as he thought over the many ways to maul his son a little, wishing that there was a way to wear more layers beneath his court going jacket. He felt chilled, his illness still lurking around somewhere in his body.. It wasn't really that cold anyhow.

Shiayla was a tad confused as she stopped travelling, coming to an abrupt halt in a burst of sparkly dust as her dimension travel stopped and she skittered gracelssly to the ground. Why was it getting harder and harder for her to do that? Well, she hadn't done it for a good few years...Picking herself up, she dusted her satin gown off and looked around, wondering if anyone had seen her ungraceful tumble.
"I just wanted tea with Jareth, am I even in the right place?" She asked herself, walking around the garden while looking around, It had been a few good years now...oh! she remembered that fountain! Shiayla stared to the left, until she suddenly collided with something warm and sneezy.

The griffins ears pricked up a little as he heard someone causing a fairly quite ka-fuffle somewhere nearby in the grounds.. He grumbled a little more to himself, that damnable headache of his starting to claw it's way back into his skull. He wanted to lie down again really, and be all warm and comfortable with his generally naked new companion.. He didn't mind the naked all too much in hind sight.. He did when it just happened to occour right before his eyes however, taking him by suprise..
He turned a little to start in the direction of the scuffling when he jumped almost right out of his feathers as he was walked into by quite a slender creature, one possibly as lost as it was slightly mindless, "Oh good, GODS!" He exclaimed, rubbing at his chest over his now racing heart, "What on earth did you go and do that for, Miss?" He gave the unicorn a slightly wide-eyed look. He'd never met one of those, before..

Shiayla stumbled back at the shout, eyes wide in surprise at the volume of the noise. She had merely accidently bumped into him! Why the shouting? Her ears flattened back as a ringing grew slightly in her ears, shaking her head a little to rid it. She smiled at the male, apologetic.
"Oh, I'm so sorry! I wasn't looking where I was going.." She admitted, a bit embarrassed by her carelessness. She took her time then to study him, he looked ill. "are you alright, sir? You look rather ill" she asked, raising a hand to press it against his forehead, testing for a fever.

The griffin looked a little disturbed at the unicorns response, he hadn't been that loud, had he..? His feathered ears flattened slightly against his head at that one his eyes still slightly wide as he loosened his grip on his jacket. "I do apologise, Madame.. I didn't mean to scare you either.. I just.." He paused as she activly invaded his personal space touching a hand to his forehead.. It felt cool and quite pleasant, in fact.. "Oh that.." He started, his shoulders rolling in a great shrug, "I've been ill recently, but thanks to the care of my wonderful companion, the witch of the west-woods, Miss Ornella, I've been feeling an awful lot better, thank you.. But uhm.. Well, may I ask your name..?" He gave her a little bow of respect, despite the hand still pressed to his face.

Shiayla flicked her ears forward as the ringing stopped, not liking her over-sensitive ears. She kept her hand pressed, brows furrowed as she checked for any hint of a fever. None. Removing her hand, she clasped them infront of her, letting them hang down limply against her front. Well, he seemed to be fine...and he had had a carer.
"oh good! I was worried there" Shiayla said, smiling happily at him. She was a unicorn healer and it was natural for her to feel worry towards sickness or ailment to others. She watched him bow staying still as if used to such treatment. "Of coarse you may! I don't like my job title very much, so just call me Shiayla. My full name is Shiayla Tresquax" she introduced herself with a curtsey, stepping out of it to look at him. "and what is your name, sir?" she asked expectantly.

The griffin inclined his head as he listened to her name, "And I, Ms. Tresquax am know to others as Grenth Caelum." He bowed to her by means of a response offering her his hand, "Head of the Caelum clan, Lord amongst my few and far between species. It is an honor to meet a creature such as yourself, I have to say." He continued. He wasn't all to shabby at this courtly babble, it felt good to learn that you hadn't reclused yourself into becoming too out of practice! "May I ask what business it is that you find yourself on to cause you to be wondering around the courtyards, Ms Tresquax?"

Shiayla couldn't help an amused laugh at his addressing of her, not used to being called by her family name as such. Generally she was either Shiayla or 'Lady Preistess' or some other title which included Preistess. She touched the palm of his hand with her own gently before withdrawing her hand, as was her way of accepting an offered hand. " Well, It is very nice to meet you Grenth Caelum, would Lord be appropriately used here?" She asked with a smile, nodding her head daintily.
When it came to why she was here, it took her a few minutes to recall why. Then she realised she was here for a tea party, simply because her husband refused to do anything of the sort. Such was the trails of living with a lordly dragon with a knack for aggrivated behaviour.
"I came here to see Jareth actually, he raised my son you see after my husband and I got in a spot of bother,so we're good friends and it's been years since we've had a good chat!" She explained, on hand moving up to tease a curl of her uniquely coloured hair, the other grasping a closed fan. "But then he isn't here, is he? Oh well, perhaps you would join me for tea? though I'm terribly sorry I can't take you back to my estate, I'm sure my husband would not approve of anyone going near the estate at all right now." she apologised, holding a hand to her head with a sigh.
