It's good, if it's the one I'm thinking of (Mistey Eyed). I've heard it played on the radio. It's nice.... I wonder what it'd sound like with vocals. idea

When I was in Jazz Band, we played Misty for one of our vocal pieces. I'm not a huge fan of it...just because I had a ton of whole notes to play one after the other (bari sax)...so it wasn't exciting for me to play. On a funny note, the band was able to learn the lyrics completely, so when we were working on sections of the piece... the members who were not playing would "sing" while a section practiced. It was too funny b/c no one could really sing. rofl

OMG! Misty was like my obsession all of last year! I even wrote an arrangement. But it was, like, really crappy and now lost in the black hole that is my room.

It's not a bad tune, but it's definitely performed a LOT. I'll play it with the trio sometimes, and there's some fun to be had with chord melody, and interesting changes, but I can think of some other ballad's I'd rather play ya know?
