 A cool breeze blow through the trees and over the grass, causing the branches and blades to shift slightly. There was a light over cast on this warm day, not hot but just right. The late spring air smelled of rain, spring always smelled like rain to the Ucolian kit. The gray and green specked fur she wore helped her blend in a little with the trees she was seated under, hiding from her Mother incase she came looking. She’d wondered off over an hour a go now and really didn’t want to be found. Her Mother annoyed her so, but not near as much as she sister. So, in an attempt to keep the peace as her Mother asked her to do often, she would wonder off to spend the day by herself and return just before dark. She knew her Mother worried so she never went far and made sure she was back in time for dinner, but she needed that time alone.
A soft left her mouth and she looked around. Nothing interesting, again. Why did they live somewhere so boring? She’d never met any other kits or Ulaya before, and hadn’t any friends. Though she wasn’t sure if that was a bad thing as they’d probably just annoy her after a while. She was easily annoyed, she wasn’t sure why.
Looking around herself she batted a rock out from under the tree, wondering what she would do for the day.

 ((May I suggest that you choose a darker color? The one you have right now is a bit hard to read... Perhaps use dimgray instead?)) Nahmir stared at the big hedge of bushes in front of her. She huffed. Did they really think that she wouldn't be able to pass them just because they were all overgrown?! She thought not. She threw her into the prickly bushes headfirst, and slowly started pushing her way forward.
About halfway through she started panicking. She would never make it to the other side! She would get stuck in here, and starve to death! She started whimpering, and cursed her own stupidity. In her panick she started pushing herself forward even more frantically.
In her frantic display of insanity she was suddenly out of the dense bush-area, and with a loud squeal she flew out of the bushes and tumbled down until she was stopped - harshly - by a tree. She was upside down, with her back against the tree. She huffed slightly and blinked. How unelegant! Not her preferred way of arriving. Not that she was going anywhere specific, but still!
In her sulking state she completely missed the grey-green ulaya kit, just about her own age, that was sitting nearby.

Ears perked up she was sure she’d heard something not that far off. She looked up, turning her head just in time to watch the dark green spotted ball of fur tumble down and slam into the tree. She winced slightly at the sound as she stared at it, ears still listening sharply. It looked like her sister a moment, but the fur was to dark, and besides her sister wouldn’t be rolling around like that. But Hedda was sure the kit was female, and probably older then herself judging by size. Hadn’t noticed her yet either, or was pretending she hadn’t.
“ Are you.. Ok? ” She hoped not to startle the other to much if she really hadn’t been spotted yet, but if this other kit was injured in some way she should help. Standing she stepped closer to the Ulaya, in an effort to show she wasn’t going to harm the other kit.
