 Riku had walked for sometime now. After he had finished building his new home. But it felt empty when he stepped inside, always letting out a heavy sigh when he stepped in. He would offend shake his head to get those thoughts out of his head "if only..." he said, not really knowing what to do anymore, shaking his head again of those thoughts "why do i feel so empty?" he would ask himself

Meanwhile, Heulwen had been exploring around the place, curious about this environment. The trees casted interesting, purple hued shadows, and the grass seemed to have an eternal dark tinge to it, like as if it seemed like the dark of night would always touch it, even though light shone through some of the trees, but it's outcome of light against the grass didn't make much of a difference, and it seemed rather peculiar. Through here, she wondered at all if it was still daytime out, but whenever asking that, looking up at the trees and seeing the light shine through like the way it would with clouds, and be reminded of the time of day. this forest much have just been thicker that's all. She sighed, "What brought myself here, anyways? I'm sure no one else is around.." She said aloud to herself at normal volume, but the silence seemed to make it ten times louder. Again, odd..
She then suddenly came to a point where the floor seemed to turn downhill, that is seemed to forcer her legs to move faster in step, and she was afraid she'd end up tripping over.
"Hm..?" She sounded out curiously, noticing not far, was something.. or someone.. She couldn't make it out entirely.. Was it a Human, or.. She looked harder, and was confused, A Minya..!? She thought, and then yeeped in shock when she apparently didn't pay attention to the floor, and ended up tripping.

Riku was ruffling through some bushes, shaking the snow off of them to see if they had any berries. Seeing a few on it, he quickly pick them. Gathering them into his arm "well...its not much, but i guess its better then nothing" he says to himself. Perking up his ears and head to some noise. Riku looks around, his ears raised up high.
"what was that?" he questioned, then looking up the hill he spots something tumbling down towards him! His eyes widen "what in the world?!" he says aloud, dropping his berries and gets ready to be ran into

"AHHHH!" Heulwen couldn't help but scream, seeing, but unable to stop as she was then tumbling towards the Bi-pedal Minya! "Watch ouuut!" She warned, although it was too late, as her body hit against him, falling toward the ground, possibly him along with her, "Oof!" She sounded out, "Oh! I-I'm sorry!" She stuttered an apology, , trying to see if he was alright, "Are you.. are you okay?" She said, almost a wince in her tone, really afraid that she hurt him too far.

It was to late for Riku to jump out of the way. He was hit dead on "argh..." he let out as he was hit, falling over on his back, but he tried to help stop the trembling minya, he manged to take the hit when they landed against a tree. He groaned in pain when his back hit the tree. He slowly opened an eye and looked at the other "ahh...yea...how are you?" he asks softly "are you...hurt?"

She blinked up at him semi-dazed, and bewildered; it was a bipedal minya afterall. He seemed to have short silver hair, and wore an interesting attire.
She stuttered, realizing about what she did, most likely causing the Minya to get hurt, and all because of her! She looked down, feeling her cheeks burn, abit embarrased, "I-I'm fine. Are yo-you alright though?" She asked back in return, lightly peeking her head up to him.

Riku wenched in pain, his right eye closed, as he raised his left hand to his head and the back of his neck "ill survive...yes" he says as he tries to get to his feet. Rubbing the back of his neck, he looks at who had ran into him
"what were you doing up there?" saying as he stared down towards what he can make out is a female Minya "you couldve gotten hurt...or worst" resting his arm on his side now. he still felt the pain from his back, but ignored it for now

Heulwen smiled, "That's good.." She commented in a whisper, watching him get to his feet.
"W-well, I was just naturally minding my own business, looking around the settlement, and, and then I stumbled upon you.." She faded off from what she was saying, now thinking in her mind on what to say next, perfectly, "Are you, a Minya, too?" was the only thing she felt like asking. She felt pretty sure; he had the common attributes for a Minya, most notably the tail and ears, but she wanted to make sure, in case he could have been something entirely different. "I, uh, hope you don't mind me asking.." She said, a sheepish look on her face.

Riku looked towards the female who was still laying on the ground "it looked more like falling then trumbling" he replied, offering a paw to help her to her feet. he lifted an eyebrow along with a ear a bit. and gave a soft sigh with a frown. Lowering his ears back down "yes i believe thats what im called as..." he reached up and scratched the back of his head "A minya...i suppose..." turning his head a bit, placing his right paw on his hip

Heulwen felt her cheeks burn from Riku's comment, abit humiliated. Did she really seem like she was falling?
Nonetheless though she accepted his paw he was offering, and grasped it with both of her paws, seeing that his other hand was occupied, being on his hip, "W-wow, a Minya.." She couldn't help but say so in awe, not having met one like him before. She was curious about how he turned out that way, but wasn't sure about asking so suddenly. "T-that's pretty cool.." She added, trying to get her leg muscles to help work herself up, still holding onto Riku's hand, her attempt to get up herself seemed to have her paws lightly pull Riku's hand lightly down in the process.

Riku still had his ears lowered, he felt the sudden weight switch. pulling him down instead of up. He grabbed a hold of her paws with both of his and pulled her up "im no different then you" saying a bit harshly "whats so cool about it?" not really getting the concept of it

Heulwen's ears pinned down to the back of her head, finding his reaction unexpected, not sure if he was being friendly, "W-well.." She let go of her grip with Riku's paws and went all fours, looking down at her legs, "Well, for one thing, you're capable of being on two legs, so you can be able to probably see stuff better than the way I could," She nodded, thinking it odd that the Anthro Minya didn't think much of it.
