actually up until i hit boot i can change my MOS at any time and and i have 1 year between boot and AIT that i can also get my MOS changed ((hte new program goes like this: i'm 17 and a junior hte summer between junior and senior year i go to boot come back to school for senior year then spend that year serving in hte reserves the summer after that i go to AIT any time up until AIT i can change my MOS.))

If i remember correctly one of the rules on here is NOT putting fellow soldiers down. Last I checked we ALL go through the same BCT, the same AIT and we are ALL soldiers. Wether we report five days a week, seven or just two a month we are soldiers the same.
Congrats on passing meps and good luck in your career, I'm a reservist too.
Oh and also, you want to diss the reserves? Why the hell did 6 reserve units just deploy if we arent soldiers? Two of those units my siblings are in, and both are 15 month, possibly 18. So shut it.

Sorry; that wasn't meant as a snub. We're all on the same team. I was never allowed to change my MOS at any time, so I'm somewhat jealous, frankly. I had to reenlist to change my MOS, so if all reservists can do it like that, more power to them. Doesn't mean I have to like it though. =p
