If you have a basketball or soccer ball you could also work on reflexes passing it back and forth with a friend. Work on moving around and not anticipating the ball coming to you and try catching it single handed as well.

Front kicks

Um, yeah.

But how can a person train to fight if they don't have someone else attacking them and defending their attacks??

by some sparring gear look for some person who has sparring gear too and maybe you can train in the backyard or something but if you cant i would suggets that you go to another school with a more adaptable schedule which country/state do you live in?

I agree with the above posters. Shadow boxing is great. Get yourself a good mirror for it, though I know it feels silly at first. Ask your Sensei if its at all possible to come in at certain times to practice on the bag. Im very lucky to have an awesome gym/dojo that allows bag work whenever a bag is available.

ok, well the best thing i can tell you, aside from the things everyone else has said about finding a way to spar( maybe see if u can meet upwith instructor after/ outside class?) is to train the skills u need during sparring nearly constantly. are you good at coordinating your left and right hands? somethin that greatly increased my jabbing skill and speed was getting one of those bouncy balls that are about one inch thru and had a rough surface and, stupid tho u may look at times when u miss, bouncing it in front of me while walking or standing then reaching out in a jab motion to snatch it as it bounced bak up, always using my left. it helps just remember when u actually harvest the fruits of this labor to make a proper fist.... ouch. another thing to practise is your vision. not blinking. reading body language. gauging range, etc. a good idea is using ur free time to reenact ur old sparring matches, examining the mistakes u made, coming up with ideas on how to fix the flaws in your technique, thinking outside of the box. there are ALWAYS things you can be improving, thinking about, or practising in your free time, you just gotta put your mind to it. ninja burning_eyes blaugh idea
