Did anyone ever realize that animals are polylingual?
I mean they can practically understand any language thier owner uses. They can follow commands in any language and know thier name no matter what. Very interesting.
Is it that they are polylingual or just a matter of training? You decide.

I beleive it's a matter of training and what language they hear the most. Like with humans, we speak the language that we most likely learned while we were infants. Animals do the same. At least thats' waht I think. Or maybe they have secret showings of muzzy!

Yeah muzzy!
Green creature who eats clocks is within all the animals!
I still think that animals are probably a little more advanced in some things. They are fairly smart and catch on quickly. But yes it probably is training. I'm wondering if they ever did an experiment to test if they understand the same commands in a new language.

Yeah, I wonder that too now that you mention it. And you are right. Animals are far more intelligent than most people give them credit for. They think that because they don't build tall buildings and nuclear missiles and speak that they are stupid, adn that's not true. Animals have a language of their own and their vocals are built like ours. But as far as their mind, they prolly know far more than we know. And have a lot more common sense, which most human beings lack.
