While they could people still associate them as two different classes with much different skills. In comparison to her pirate a theif would have agi and evasion instead of str and def and a much more effective skill for stealing.
Well if there are pirates then shouldn't people be able to make boats instead of houses or alongside houses also? Because I mean a pirate is a thief/barbarian on water.
*stare* ... NO! There's not enough theif there for a pirate to be a theif/barbarian. And the fact that they ARE on water makes them a completly different class. No other class would have the skill '"X" marks the spot' either.
