The sun was high, casting a glow of heat down on the fields. It's humind rays were starting to drain rivers ahead. No one would expect such a humind Spring. It hadn't even become Spring that much, and right now, it felt like a pure Summer. However, a small orange pelt was sauntering through the fields. Light brown leaves weren't sheltering his pelt well, and he almost growled.
Hachi let out a frown and continued on. It was his first day in exploring. Haseo, his father, said he could explore. But Hachi had yet to understand why the red male let him run around alone. He wasn't exactly the nicest company, and he was the worst trouble-maker ever. Wherever Hachi went, trouble and a scent of evil, followed along.
When he managed to spot something sprouting flames, Hachi's red eyes widened with awe. The kit's tail lashed back in fourth with ill curiosity, and he watched as two bright flames dazzled upon leaves. They were seperated, and the flames were starting to spread into the grass as well.
Hachi tilted his head. An evil grin starting to carve in his face. How would his parents thrill if he brought home fire?
((Just a note: Hachi, as a box, was seperated from Seika and his siblings. So, Haseo, one of my ulaya, adopted him while he was in a box. xP ))

The heat was hardly a damper on one particular male's spirit. All things considered, there were very few things that could halt his happy sprint across the fields at this point. There seemed to be little reason for it, really. Seriozha could feel sweat beading beneath his fur, but paid the awkward feeling little heed. There was something in the distance and he was making a run for it. Maybe he couldn't see it just yet, but he rarely did things without meaning. It was just... the meaning rarely, if ever, made itself known right out.
After a time his pace slowed to a trot. For as much as he wanted to keep at it, the limits of his own body weren't to be ignored forever. Not only that, but now he was sure he could see the thing he'd been running for. Chocolate brown eyes narrowed, heavy-horned head swaying as he let his gaze sweep to both sides in deep curiosity. Smoke? Was that normal?
Slender tail flicking, he snuck forward. With each step he became more aware. An unusual seriousness looked as if it had fallen over his features at the sight of the kit and the flames, combined in one view. "Fire is dangerous, you know," he called out, pacing closer, hoping his words would lure this young one away from paralyzing flicker of flames. Had it been the heat that caused such a strange occurrence?

Hachi's tail lashed back in fourth, his eyes flashed to the fire, then turning his head to give the male a nasty glare. Unsheathing his claws and striking the two leaves, Hachi grinned once more. The two leaves were burning feverishly. When they fill again, tehy had been torn into tiny bits, burning with the same furiously gleam. Hachi let out a small chuckle, enjoying the burning scent they let off.
"Does that answer your question?" He called to the other viciously. Swining around to face the male Hachi's tail twitched with sudden interest. This male was the same species as him, and they also bore the same colors, or... close enough. A sadistic smile formed on Hachi's face again, and he proceeded to approach the male.
"Who are you... Anyways?" The orange kit called out of curiosity, sitting down with a flick of his tail. His red eyes were letting off a glow of evil, and he was holding himself back to actually hurt the older male. Or, in any case, create trouble.

Hm. Well, it was obvious this little man had a temper. And, Seriozha had to admit, had skill, as well. Not a fighter by nature, he couldn't quite understand the point of such displays for the purpose of intimidation. But while he slipped on a happy smile, as was his way, it was more than just a mask. Fear wasn't something he felt at this point. This child's claws would be a threat if he were just a little older. For now, he figured he could hold his own if necessary. Hopefully it wouldn't be. And hopefully his assumption would be correct. Getting sliced up by a minor would be less than entertaining.
"Well, I suppose it does," he responded with a laugh. His voice held none of the venom of the other's. The laughter died as soon as he got a good look at the younger, however. Eyes narrowed again, a contemplative look spreading across his face. "I'm Seriozha," he revealed after a while of staring. "And who might you be?" Might you be related to someone I know? he wanted to ask, but didn't. This one didn't seem like much of a conversationalist anyway. Better to take it one step at a time.
