Lucius smiled once more and bowed his head deeply to the smaller Aeri. “Once again, you have my sincerest thanks Zophros. Rest well; I hope to see you again soon.” With these words, the orange-eyed stallion trotted past the white and grey creature. Once he was a polite distance away, he paused, smiled over his shoulder at the other leather-winged Nequus before turned his vivid gaze back onto the horizon and, tossing his head, springing into a gallop once more.
Before long, the sun was began to creep into the sky and cast its warm orange light down onto his back. Winter was lessening its hold on the lands a little and though his breath still steamed in the air before him the boned stallion knew well that spring was coming. He had been long away from Lydia and Alice and he missed his mate and daughter acutely yet he could not give up on this task nor even pause in it to seek them out. He had set out to find Vox and he would do it. If he happened to run into them on his search, well, that was another matter entirely. Smiling softly to himself and hoping that he would, the red-maned Aeri surged on along the beach. There was no time to waste, there was never any time to waste.

Smiling softly, Zopyros nodded his head. "Remember to rest yourself as well, Lucius. A weary mind cannot search for your son."
Watching the other Aeri gallop away, the gray-and-white stallion took a trot off the other way across the beach, stretchign his wings for a moment and gliding a good three lengths before he curled them again and went to find his cave-like hiding spot. He hadn't been disturbed there... But Lucius was smart. If he wished to find him, it would be easy.
