There's a character from the Icarus (sp?) game in the new Smash Brothers. Anyone know ANYTHING about this title? sweatdrop

I'm pretty sure that Kid Icarus was an nes game. Pit was the name of the main character. That's who's in Brawl. I heard that the game was based off of the Greek legend of Icarus. Icarus had wings but flew too close to the sun and they burned off and the same thing happens to Pit at the end of the game. Thats all I know.

Isn't Icarus the tale of this kid and his dad trying to escape from the labyrinth or something? His father made wings of wax and feathers for he and his son, but when they were flying, Icarus flew too close to the sun and his wings melted. Then he drowned in the ocean or something.
