Merchandising is the reason Jhonen stopped the show! If you love Invader Zim, join guilds like this and buy all the DVDs you want, but since when did you have to be a walking bilboard?
Sharing what merchandise we have is just a silly way to get other people talking, so we like the show and this is our way of getting a "piece" of the show. Rather or not Jhonen likes it, us fans do, it's nice to be able to look at the things we've bought that are from the show. And just because we purchase these things doesn't make us a walking billboard, I'm sure most of us don't walk around with ever piece of Invader Zim merch we own on us no matter where we go. There's a lot more to get from the show than just watching and being satisfied with that...no offense to you or anything, where some people see money signs by creating ungodly amounts of merch some of us just see another way to connect ourselves to a show we love! (though I must admit some people go WAY overboard on the amont of merch they purchase...)
