I know that this topic has nothing to do with the club activities, but it does involve the club members. Why do we have character ed? I have to be honest, I think the theory of character ed is a good thing, but the problem is that in a group setting it fails. In a group, the people that need to benefit from character ed do not participate and ignore the topic whilst the people that already have good character are actively participating in the conversation. Do they do this in China or Japan? and how many people think its a waste of time?

I think the program is a WONDERFUL idea. In theory? it's amazing. In Practice? It's a huge failure. Seriously, the only reason i enjoy my character Ed. is that i adore Coach Baker, and the idiots who are our 'mentors' bring me food. *shrug* i think that if they changed some things, people might take it more seriously, but honestly i don't think they'll make those changes.
On another note, i think that school is a wonderful idea, which in practice sucks.

We didn't even HAVE a character ed teacher yesterday. We basically sat there for an hour while a student tried to get the sub to let him teach character ed through shadow puppets, which would have been awsome, but sadly, it wasn't to be :'<

It would be better if our character ed guy actually came to our class. But, now we have our homeroom teacher reading stuff from a piece of paper. THe guy we had came once, then he never showed up again. :

I think it's pointless because almost no one pays attention. I only like it because of the free food. XD

Like I said before Spazzy, we don't even have this at Hillgrove. It seems pointless enough to me. But what I didn't know is that it's like a real class. (I thought it was like a thirty minute homeroom. Boy was I wrong. o.o) But they give you food because it's that long?!? That's crazy.
Like I said, seems pointless to me.
