Okay... the first one is about elemant manipulation. The manipulation of energy when creating the Windshruiken rasengan is not the same thing as Haku, the first Hokage, or Yamato's manipulation of the elements. Theirs is true element manipulation. They are able to bend the elements at will. (with chakra still of course)
The WR (windshruiken rasengan) is not nearly the same at all and though it has been reffered to elemental maniplulation in manga's it is not. That is only a convienent word for translators. It is really bending and shaping pure energy. I will explain it one at a time.
Lets start with chidori... That is creating your element with chakra on the outside of your body. In such a pure form the element is able to be more then just chakra. When formed outside the body like this it is called elemental recompisition.
Now lets start Rasengan. When rasengan is used it doesn't take nearly as much chakra but instead the chakra by some process is shaped. With the rasengan it is shaped into a ball because the user of the moves spins his chakra extremly fast in circles. This is called Spatial Recomposition!
Now WR is a combination of both. First Naruto starts by spinning his own chakra in circles creating rasengan. Then he allows his pure form of chakra to flow into the center and creates WR.
This as you can see is in no way element manipulation.

The Second and Third, are the differences between the Byakugan and the Sharingan.
As shocking as this may sound to some of you, they are different.
*Waits for everyone to stop being shocked*
I'll start with the Byakugan.
A person with the Byakugan has a nearly 360 degree field of vision, except for a small blind spot at the back of the neck above the first thoracic vertebra. Byakugan users can detect anything around them within a small radius, the greater the users skill with the Byakugan, the larger the radius is, which makes them close-range combat experts. The Byakugan also gives the user the ability to see through basically any matter over extremely long distances. A small degree of telescopic vision is also present, as a Byakugan user can focus on a single object at any point within their range of vision. The degree of focus seems to be dependent on the skill of the user. The Byakugan's insight capacity makes it useful for searching, tracking, and identifying targets.
This means, that the Byakugan can see your chakra system and chakra network.

The Sharingan
The Sharingan's first and most well known ability is to memorize any technique that it witnesses. It can memorize any standard form of jutsu with perfect accuracy, allowing the user to use the techniques as his own. In order to reproduce copied jutsu, however, one must have the necessary skill or ability to perform them. A prime example is Rock Lee's Strong Fist taijutsu. While Sasuke was able to copy some of Lee's moves, they put a much more significant strain on him since he hasn't had the same training as Lee has.
The Sharingan's second ability is granting the user incredible clarity of perception, allowing them to track fast-moving objects with ease and even predict the subsequent movements of those objects. The ability to track and predict movement is largely based on individual skill, as unskilled users have much more trouble tracking fast-moving objects. A fully-evolved Sharingan eye can track even the quickest opponents, though, like the first ability, it doesn't necessarily mean the user has the ability to react to it. This perception is also great enough to see through genjutsu and to observe the movement and flow of chakra, but not to the same extent or clarity as the Byakugan. ((This means, that the Sharingan, NOT THE BYAKUGAN can see through Genjutsu and shows that the Byakugan, NOT THE SHARINGAN can see your chakra network for those that couldn't figure that out. wink ))
Additionally, the Sharingan grants the user exceptional analytical powers, allowing them to instinctively pick up on various visual clues with little difficulty. For example, Sasuke was able to reproduce answers on another person's test by watching their pencil movements during the Chunin Exams.
The Sharingan's third capability is a unique brand of hypnosis that involves suggesting actions and thoughts to the opponent. When used in conjunction with the aforementioned aspects of the Sharingan, this allows the user to perfectly mimic every move their opponent makes, even before they do, making it appear as if the user can see the future. It also allows for other forms of hypnotism, such as putting an opponent to sleep, replaying memories to someone else, or creating various illusions to fool an opponent.
These are the most notable and basic differences between the two Dojutsu. Another exception, is the way the Sharingan may "evolve" into the Mangekyo Sharingan.
I hope this clarifies everything for those who were confused.

Wow... your amazing... except for one... this isn't your thread... so don't change the subject we are talking about. You can do that in the Ooc forum if you want. Not to mention some of what you say is wrong.
The Byakugan can see through Genjutsu. But... in the literal sense. By finding facts they can make it so their mind knows that it is false. Moves such as Bunshin. This genjutsu is easy for Byakugan to see through because it just so happens that Bunshin don't have a chakra system. There for the move is given away. Also for such genjutsu as the bringer of darkness technique. This move can be seen through as well because Byakugan can see in thermal vision, thus seeing past the gnejutsu once again.
Now anyone can copy and past how things work from a site as Rachel has. But we obviously know that he content in the (()) is just her opinion and happens to be wrong so please ignore it.
Now... Please no more talking off the current subject. I just had to make an error in my thread correct.
