Thomas J. Vilsack (D)
Former governor

The first candidate to enter the race, Vilsack was also the first to announce he was dropping out. The former Iowa governor said he just wasn't going to be able to keep up with the fundraising efforts of his opponents. Vilsack was on his way to raising $1.3 million in the first quarter -- as much as other candidates have been able to raise in a single night. During his career as Iowa governor from 1999-2007, Vilsack raised about $11.5 million.

Aw, he looks like he could've been good. I hate how your chances pretty much depend completely on how much money you can raise.

He was on the Daily Show with Jon Stewert.
They even came up with a slogan for him!

Oo. I love Jon Stewart, and Stephen Colbert.
Little random though, but still very good.

Jon Stewert had Hillary Clinton on his show, not in person, but he really got it good.

Do we really need a president? Can't we just have Congress?
