So for some reason I don't know how to fix my laptop has randomly decided not to recognize my wireless router anymore. stare It shows that it's detecting a signal, it shows that the signals strong. But it just won't connect, whether I've got it on the other side of the house or right next to the thing. It's been kinda finicky before so I thought it was the wireless, but right now I'm on my moms laptop and its working fine.
So basically until I can figure out whats wrong or the problem fixes itself (which it tends to do often for me for some reason) I might no be on much. I'll still check in but my only other internet access is the family PC (which my sister is always on so that's nearly impossible) or my moms laptop (which is my old one and there's a reason I upgraded. I'm about ready to put a fist through this thing. It's already frozen a dozen times with me running only the bare essentials, and she doesn't understand the concept of computer maintenence so I spent the first hour fighting my way through a slog of needed updates and scans she keeps cancelling.
Luckily my laptop is still under warrenty, so if I can't fix it I can try taking it in. Un luckily I really really need it for my homework right now and I'd have to finish backing up all my files first so that won't be anytime soon. (Until then I'm stuck using the internet on one computer while typing on the other, I keep thinking I can use the same mouse and trying to go off the side of the screen though since I'm used to working with an extra monitor when I use adobe on big projects. sweatdrop
So the postponment? The banner contest I promised for the beginning of February. stare Without a decent computer/access to my files, I'm going to have to put it off until later. stare stare grrrrr.... But that gives you PH newbies more time to get your post counts up. See the contest section of the rules and info sticky if you don't know what I'm talking about.
