Freedom has its own unique term for each individual. But it has been known as the power to exercise choice and make decisions without constraint from within or without; autonomy; self-determination. How ever people of the small village of New Perri do not know of freedom but of Tyrants and hardship. There village is at constant attack by creatures that go bump in the night. The ruler of the village has created an Elite squad to deal with these creatures. The 8 men and Woman of the squad are unique, Each having a special ability. Their job is simple, Kill all the creatures and prevent them from contaminating the village. The squad is the Beta Marines. Each is equipped with one main weapon and two defensive weapons. All of them have mastered some form of magic.
