To keep browsing simple, the staff uses tags next to thread titles so everyone knows what sort of thing is going on inside the thread, and we encourage you to do the same when you create a topic. Tags are very simple, and you can see them in use all around the guild.
Examples of Staff created tags:
[Journal]: Denotes a journal thread.
[Official RP]: Denotes the official Scattered Stories RP Thread
[Official RP Event]: Denotes Staff planned events, such as a page growing, contests, etc.
Examples of Guardian created tags:
[Playdate]: Self explanatory, and works best when followed by the names of the participants. ( [Playdate] Eriol and Illyria )
[Adventure]: Also self explanatory. ( [Adventure] Dragon Hunting! )
