i came out to my mom after church today^^she was a little shocked, but she took it okay^^she did the best thing anyone could do after getting that news: she gave me a hug and told me she loved me^^she didn't seem to get the whole "pansexual" thing, though...she just said, "isn't that bi?" so i just told her, yeah, basically...

sweet. so did you plan to come out at the church or did it just happen?
i came out to one of my friends at a starbucks. then at burgerking for another. then at jack in the box for another. i don't think i have the guts to tell my family. especially not at church!!! haha, but it is very cool that you came out. i'm glad your mom reacted so nicely. why can't all christians be that way?

first of all, i just finally took the opportunity to say it seriously. i'd sorta hinted to it, and said it in a light manner, but nobody's ever really believed me, cuz i always say it jovially. well, i told her and she said "...okay..." then proceeded to ask me questions, like if i were to tell her that i started dating guys and she didn't know. i didn't plan to tell her after church, it just ended up happening that way. then we went to my grandparents' house.
second of all, it's those "christians" who don't accept and love who give the rest of us a bad name...
oh, and today, we joked about it at dinner^^apparently she had asked my brother and sister what pansexual means^^and she asked if that included animals or dead people. i laughed at that^^((no, i don't do that, thanks))and explained that some peoples' doors swing in, some peoples' doors swing out, some peoples' doors swing in AND out, and some people, like me, have revolving doors^^

caellan some peoples' doors swing in, some peoples' doors swing out, some peoples' doors swing in AND out, and some people, like me, have revolving doors^^ THAT IS AN AMAZING QUOTE. And I'm really happy that your mom took it well and is even able to joke about it. My mom wasn't quite so open.

(sorry, i'm really curious about this type of stuff sweatdrop )

i don't think she enjoyed chuck n larry as much, knowing her own daughter is...of the same persuasion. but she doesn't seem to hate me or antything. i'm pretty sure she's told john, my step-dad, but he hasn't come right out and said anything, he's just insinuated stuff. my dads are the ones i'm worried about. john's very...unforgiving...and my real dad's a priest...
