Thanks for the list of bands to avoid... because lets face it screamo = "I'm so angry I'm going to cry at you now."

In early emo, a few bands would actualy lead up to crying in they're songs.

okay these bands may have screaming vocals and overly polished recordings but it doesnt make them a screamo band. Screamo is defined by raw recordings, progresive chords, Intricate sound structure, and mistakes.
