It seemed rather mesmerizing, watching the crowd around them as Dia held onto her surrogate mother’s hand, fingers squeezing tight as she watched everything with wide, green eyes. The mall was completely packed, and Clock had far grown used to the comments from strangers at how adorable and charming the little green-haired girl was. Dia had said nothing, just giving one of her small little patient smiles, knowing that the attention wouldn’t last long, at least from a single stranger.

Tugging on Dia’s hand, Clock gave the other a smile as she led her into a large department store, pointing out clothing that didn’t have shoulder-fabrics, and one in particular that Dia took to that had sleeves, but left room for her shoulder ‘spikes’, as Clock liked to refer to them. Mouth open in a small ‘o’ shape, Dia let go of her mother’s hand and wandered towards the shirt, stumbling as another person bumped into her. Regaining her balance, Dia turned to reach out for her mother’s hand, but found that the woman was nowhere in sight... the only place nearby was the makeup counter. Dia could always wait it out, knowing to stay in one spot while her mother looked, so she headed over to the stool and climbed up, lips pursed as she leaned on the counter and found herself staring at the various colors that were used to put on people’s faces. Cool green eyes turned to watch another woman getting her face done up, and Dia laid her head on her palm and stared, watching with mild intrigue.

The woman getting her face made up seemed to be paying little attention to the girl. In fact, she had her eyes closed, as the salesgirl babbled on about the make-up she was applying to the woman's face.

She opened her eyes when the salesgirl flailed her arms around with her words, however. The flailing itself wasn't a problem - rather, it was the fact that she had just accidently released a case of makeup into the air. Apparently her hands were sweaty.

And with a little thunk, the makeup - some sort of foundation, apparently - planted itself on Dia's head.

At least the make-up wasn't loose. Although being hit in the head with a make-up case was never fun.

Jerking back, Dia grabbed the air next to her hip, eyes widening as she stepped back and braced herself. The makeup kit fell to the ground and she glanced up with wary eyes at the woman that had thrown the case. Or let go. Whichever it was, Dia wasn't very happy about it.

Rubbing her forehead, she stared at the other with a pouted lip, shoulders slouching.
