Wait, what good will this do? I shall whack thee, instead! *whack whack whack* Sorry, we're studying Shakespeare in english and a lot ot dialects tend to rub off on me. Too much Doctor Who, for example, and my speech patterns change.

oooo I just love being whacked! mrgreen Fair Maiden, calm thyself, lest people think the mad! (I read a lot of Shakespeare for fun)
I know what you mean. Most of the shows I like are on BBC America. Not only do I now use British slang like OI and "Sod off" but but a friend commented the other day that I was saying certain words with a very slight British accent.

Just one ep of Doctor Who and I start getting this slight accent. And I do say certain things with a British accent without realizing. "Process" "Screwdriver" "Doctor" "It", to name a few...

I acyually SCREAMED out loud the first, like, 5 times I saw "Blink". I forced my ten-year-old brother to watch it with me once, and it gave him nightmares for, like, weeks. Also, I'm Canadian, and I think I've started saying more british things lately...Like I say "Oi!" all the time, and "blast" and "bugger". I also read a lot of Terry Pratchett, and it's all british slang too.-Oh, and "bloody"

ErinaStar During the episode Blink i was scared speechless by the weaping angels, however it felt i was half-laughing and half-scared and by the end of the episode i was speechless, which usually doesn't happen to me. i know i was like that apart from the speechless bit at the end, it was still brillent
