A mini-guide-thing to help you get achievements on the 360
Streak Master (1000 note streak)- Play Through the Fire and Flames on Easy, it has 1102 notes and is very easy to FC. This will also get you the other streak achievements if you don't have them already
Whammy Mania (Hold down the Whammy bar for all long notes in Number of the Beast)- Again, play it on easy with the whammy bar held down the entire song. Alternatively, you could tape/rubber band the Whammy bar down but just be sure you hit every long note in the song. Keep in mind that you must hit every long note in the song.
Hendrix Reborn (beat career on both lefty flip and righty flip)- For this one, your going to need a big mirror...pretty self explanitory at this point. If your a righty, switch to lefty flip and look in the mirror. The notes will be just like normal. Same thing goes for lefty's...except backwards :
Who Needs the Power? (get 200k points on Cult of Personality without star power)- Instead of trying for a long time to pass that crazy solo in this song on Expert only to finally get through it with 170k points, do it on Hard! Much much easier solo but you'll only be allowed to miss about 4 notes in the song, meaning you'll need at least a little bit of talent with hammer ons and pull offs. Other than that its very easy.
Buy a Guitar Already! (complete career mode on the hard or expert difficulty using a standard controller.)- First off, beat hard or expert with a guitar controller. After you've beaten it, go to the main menu, unplug or turn off your guitar and plug in or turn on your regular controller. Now all you do is go to career and select the difficulty you beat it on and BAM! instant achievement. I'm not sure if this works for everyone if my 360 was just being nice so if this doesn't work for you, then you should practice hittin' those controller buttons!
[Secret Achievement] Tail Between Your Legs- Decline a boss battle. You don't get any gamer points, but it's still nice to have...i guess.
[Secret Achievement] Blowin' It- Fail any 1 song 10 times in a row. I'm pretty sure this is secret but i could be wrong.
[Secret Achievement] Almost Got It- Fail any song at 90% complete or more. Again, I'm not sure if this is truely a secret achievement or not.
