you what reeeeally
pisses me off?!
two things, actually.
FIRST
That horrible, awful
type of usa tourists.
i used to live in one
of the most touristic
places in mexico.
and we have a lot.
and there was this one
type of tourist who made
me want to grab them,
tie them up and stuff
street tacos down their
pompous, overly sanitary
throats.
these...creatures would
get to ixtapa, and stay
in their flippin' hotels
during the entire vacation.
going to the POOL instead
of the beach. they'd
eat things they usually
eat in the restaurant.
when they did venture
out to the streets, they
would apply that hand
cleaning gel stuff every
two seconds and, when
contemplating a store
or a restaurant, would
say really loudly, as
if nobody but them spoke
english, "OH, BUT THAT
TABLE DOESN'T LOOK
SANITARY ENOUGH" or
"DO YOU THINK THEY
CLEAN THIS OFTEN?"
or "I DOUBT THAT
GIRL WASHES HER
HANDS"
some of them even wore
those doctor glove thingies.
i mean, COME ON, PEOPLE.
it's MEXICO, not friggin'
dirt ville or similar.
ugh.
why do they even come
here?! why?!
SECOND:
holidays.
they get no respect
anymore.
every single holiday
has turned into an
awful comercial,
givegivegive and
buybuybuy mania.
take st.valentines,
for example.
imo, it's a good idea
to celebrate love and
all that, but nowadays,
in order to prove you
love somebody, you
give him/her a bunch
of flowers, a teddy bear,
chocolate, whatever.
since when is a simple
"i love you" not enough?
but, oh no! not only is
that too simple, but too
few people can even
get the balls to say it.
so they buy stuff.
ridiculous, pink, frilly,
corny stuff.
even gaia is after money.
why do you think they're
taking away all the love-
themed stuff from the cash
shop right before valentine's
day?
not only are holidays
commercialized, but
they're losing their specific
dates.
everyone knows that
christmas is on the 25th
of december.
but stores are selling
decorations, trees, etc
by friggin september.
sorry, girlies.
those things just make
me really mad, and since
i've had a pretty crappy
day, i took it out on that.
