Wildfire sat high in the tree, the small search group had formed. The offer of this so called 'candy' had united the lost children to search for these 'cabages'. Wildfire liked the candy, oh yes the explosion of flavor and color beat out even her precious berries, berries that if she was of gentle temperment she would have taken her name from.
Still the rouge redhead didn't nessicarily feel like searching all the time a good search with mates could be fun. Especialy if she managed to get a good fight out of it. With a grin Wildfire leapt down from the tree, eyes bright and eager for the new adventure.
"To the cabages!" she called out, glancing back to the others. "Hurry up you guys! We gotta find them before chore time!" Wildfire did everything with a passion. This just happened to be one more thing.

"We're gonna find some cabbages!" Ed sung out, grinning brightly from ear to ear. He was so happy he could come help the others find these cabbage thingies! It made him feel important. Besides, they'd get candy!....whatever that was. But it had to be good if they were getting it as a reward!
He clapped his hands together, then looked at Wildfire. "But where are we gonna find the cabbages?" he asked, blinking. "And what do these cabbages look like?" Ed had probably seen a cabbage at one time or another; he just didn't remember at the moment.
The blonde boy grinned again. As soon as he found out what he was looking for, he'd do the goodest job evers! He'd do the bestest job that he could do and, hopefully, he wouldn't get any ouchies today! Of course, that's just what he was hoping.

Charlie watched from the shade as the other two children made their plans and weighed his options. He could sit here and do nothing or he could put effort into something and get candy. It was a tough call, he decided. Normally, Charlie was about as active as a rock after he had done a few useful things every day for the sake of posterity. This pleased him, and he didn't mind being compared to sundry animals starting from a snail and working up the evolutionary ladder to touch upon slow creatures from all branches of the tree of life. But... Candy. Candy was tempting. Charlie never really got much of it since one usually had to do something to get candy. But finding things didn't sound so hard. He could do that. He went to make sure he could first. "I c'n help if'n you wannit." he said to the other children in his continual mutter that was either lazy, shy or both.

Instead of hanging out in the Treehut, bored out of his mind, or wandering off into the forest alone, Trystan decided that he would offer his help in the search of 'cabbages.' Why a plant would be so important enough that a search party would be formed, he didn't know, but obviously it was for some reason, and he loved to help. The fact that candy was being offered as a prize for whoever found it, didn't even cross his mind, he wasn't too fond of candy as it was.
Trystan's attention had been on how he would ask how he could help until another boy spoke, offering help if they wanted it. He couldn't have put it better himself. Dropping down from the branch he had been resting in, he landed a few feet away from the two children, grinning brightly.
" Me too," he offered," I'll help too if you'd like."

Wildfire grinned when she was joined. She nodded once, emphaticly, to the two boys wanting to help, and then turned back to the one asking her a question. Realizing she managed to snag the leader postion (and not entirely sure how) she decided to just accept it.
"Uhhhh, the big boys said they were big, and greeny, leafy and round. They shouldn't be attacked to anything." Wildfire explained, holding up her hands like the men had when explaining what a cabage was.
"And help would be great. I dunno where they are so we got to keep a close look out for them. Mostly look for a green round plant that you don't reconize then bring it to me. I'll tell you if it's a cabage or not." she intructed carefully. Of course she knew what a cabage looked like. She was there when the men discribed it. So she'd be able to tell the different.

Plant? There were lots of plants on the island. This was turning out to be an easier task than Charlie hoped. After all, there were lots of round and leafy green thigns, therefore it stood to reason that some of em, maybe a lot of em'd be these prized cabbages. He'd have some candy in no time! "Mkay." he said to the group amiably. "Shoul' we split up-like 'n bring em back t'here?" he asked the cabbage expert. "Then we c'n count 'm all 'n see if they're all c'bbges.

Ed grinned, nodding! Leafy and round? Got it! "We should split up and finds buncha cabbages to get buncha candy!" he said enthusiastically. "Howsat sound to you all, my friends?" he said, grinning even more. He'd already established today that they were, in fact, his friends. Whether they were aware of it or not. "I 'onder wha a cab-bag tastes like......" he said, zoning out for a moment. Did they taste like candy? Was that what was needed to make candy?

Split up? Trystan wasn't too fond of the idea, since to him search parties stuck together, but he agreed that they would probably find stuff faster that way. And if they found what they figured to be a cabbage, to bring it back to the Wildfire, whom seemed to know way more about it than most.
" Sounds good," Trystan said, a grin upon his face. He enjoyed helping others, especially since they were on a 'hunt' of sorts. He was excited and ready to do his best. " So which ways should we start searchin'?"

Charlie pondered this. "I'da fig'red anyplace th's got some green 'bout it." he offered carefully. "Jus' goin' to some likely spots'd work, right?" he looked to Wildfire for confirmation. "These c'b'ges aren' sneaky or nuff'n, right?" He hoped not. That'd make things about ten times harder than they ought to be. "Like those pl'nts th't eat bugs. Tricky." He looked worried. What if cabbages were dangerous? After all, they were important enough to be offered candy for.
