Clarinet Techniques Anyone Have Any Techniques for me Also im a freshman and ive been playing clarinet for 4 years and im in the marching band

what do you mean by techniques exactly? Like articulation, fingers, dynamics...o_o? clarify it more? please? biggrin

when you are sitting and/or standing, sit/stand tall also, make sure you have a firm embouchure and you are using a generous amount of warm air

uhhhh make sure there is enough space from yyour back to the back of the chair for someone to step there and don;t get to weak or strong of reeds and uhhhh don;t drop your clarinet

Um have good posture, don't drop the instrument, don't whack anyone with it, don't bite the keys off, don't eat the reed, don't choke on the ligature, don't yell into the bell at the band director, don't ride it like a broomstick, don't do arm curls with it, don't prove you are psychic with it, um...........uh................what else..............

ya know how B flat is always a crappy note to play? Use the A key (lower register i think-- not the high one-- does this make any sense?...) and of those 4 side keys on the right side- use the second one down. only use it when you have a longer-holding note though... xp ninja cool
there's other alternate fingerings I could tell you about too if ya want... wink lol I've been playing for 4 years too (hence I'm a freshman) but I take lessons too once in a while... ninja
