Did you hear about Gaia from a friend or some other source? When did you join and was there anything memorable about joining?

I first heard about Gaia when reading Bad Role Players Suck on LJ. So I didn't check it out for quite a while but finally got curious after hearing there were games, all sorts of forums, etc. Nothing out of the ordinary prompted me but I've had fun since being here, mostly playing my main and my mules to make gold. Jigsaw's a fave of mine. Oh, and I got a great stroke of luck from one of the occasional giftboxes, which gave me an item that sold for a lot on the MP! If rl were like that, things would be different around my house....

I see you have a Hermes Moon. Thinking of getting one for one of my mules. Gothlupin seems to have enough.

One of my friends on greatestjournal.com told me about Gaia a long time ago, I made an account (Elvenbaby) and forgot about Gaia soon after. Last year Julie told me she was having fun on Gaia and I remembered that I had an account too. I started playing again, discovering quickly that in my old account I had a bug that wouldn't let me place my house. So, I made this account and I am using my old one as a mule. Over time I added three more mules, so I am the proud owner of 5 accounts razz

I love Jigsaw and fishing, also I enjoy the fact that you can buy such cute stuff with gold so I turned into a Gaia-shopaholic razz My avi is a spoiled lady. wink

I love the snake... and I was so excited when it grew. I know... I am easily amused.

I joined in july 2006 after being invited by a friend on Greatest Journal .
Loved it from the start heart but was a bit shy about interacting with other members in the beginning. When I found fellow Snape/Alan Rickman fans that's when it started to get really interesting and now I found my role, so to speak smile

Jigsaw and Wordbump are my favorite games here, but I spend most of my time here in the shops and on marketplace (in real real life you'd find in a bookshop, any bookshop).

The roleplaying started with Kitty (Lady of Nottingham) and now I have 3 accounts with which I play against several Gaia members, but I've never played in a forum so that'll be a new experience!

I received an invitation to Gaia from Gothlupin, whom I knew from rping on GJ. I am not new to role playing, having done it for some four years now. I have ten characters on Gaia now, having just added a tenth. I love the jigsaws especially, but Kitty is helping me to sell my stuff more effectively in the marketplace too.
